Why does every assassin feel like a high mobility fighter?

isn't even an assassin anymore. She has high sustain and dps but lower burst. More of a skirmisher/diver than ana assassin. feels more like a skirmisher/diver, not an assassin. was meant to be an assassin, yet he plays like a diver/tank shredder with high sustain. is now a burst mage/wave clearer. is similar to akali, more of a skirmisher due to his lack of raw burst. There seems like there is no true assassin and the "assassins" are more like high mobility fighters, meaning they are less good against adc and mages but much more effective against tanks due to their dps and sustain.

Because they basic are and some use to be.

But everything changed when the power creep attacked

so rengar is now garbage because of the recent changes. he used to be able to get away with going full ad or a bruiser. now he can only go full ad and sucks. if assassins were to play what the way they were supposed to, the game would be so easy for a tank

Any champion can build this and do burst. Most of shaco's damage comes from artificial scaling items because his kit has very little damage.

Kayn was meant to be both an assassin with mobility and a diver/tank shredder with high sustain... His passive was entirely designed to give you the choice on which one you want to be. The Champion Spotlight (at 1:00) for Ekko litterally says "Ekko plays the role of a solo lane skirmishing assassin..."

Leblanc has always been a burst mage (22 second highlight from 2014). The wave clear is new, but was put in place to make up for the counterplay they added to her. Her burst was practically instant before the rework which is why her wave clear was so bad back then.

And it sounds to me like the issues you have with Akali and Shaco have more to do with itemization than anything else. An AD Shaco is naturally more inclined towards being a fighter than if he were AP. Also I'm pretty sure that the "full AP" versions of both of these champions are the intended "assassin builds" but the strong AP items have changed since then, making them less viable.
