None is worried about Kindred's statistics?

A player who has more then 125 games with her statistically win 66% of the game. Near 70%. Rengar was near 62% with player with more then 125 games( rengar's player base has a lot of games with him) and Riot nerfed him even for that. Same withEvelynn .

The strange thing is that a champ who has a so good'infinit' scaling like kindred has her highest winrate around 25 min. If we take for exp. Rengar, who is an iperscaling champ, even before his nerf, he had his highest winrate around 40 min. So why kindred has a so good scaling, but also a so good early pressure? Am Ithe only one who is thinking that she need a shift of her powercurve?

She has nerfs on the PBE that specifically aim at lowering her early power. Also, the removal of Devourer will affect her, as she loses ready access to Phantom Hit (Rageblade is expensive and fairly inefficient for people who have absolutely no use for AP) and the magic-damage on-hit effect (which means all her damage output is now physical damage, and thus countered by Armor).

no shes getting more buffs than nerfs on the pbe if u look closely

Nah. Definitely more nerfs. The Q CD is huge for early fighting, and all the W buff does is make up for the early clear speed loss that the Q change would have caused. Item changes might or might not help her, but either way she'll come out of it weaker.

if anything i think most of us would agree that the new jungle item is better than devoure for her. phantom hit is weak for ranged champs. combine the new item. botrk her passive. and she will melt tanks faster than a hot knife going through butter

The new item is generally pretty weak, and while it is a bit stronger for her early game than devourer currently is, the difference is rather small. It doesn't come even close to the impact of her actual nerf.

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

it is weak obviously. 3% max health isn't enough at all. the item has only attack speed. but i will make an exception because kindred is a ranged champion that doesn't work great compared to other champs with devoure yet look at winrate.

i will make an exception

There is nothing to make an exception for. The new jungle item is weaker than sated devourer on any champion, ranged or melee. Kindred has nothing that changes that. She'll be hurt a little less than other devourer builders, but it's not helping her enough to make up for the nerfs she's getting.

You said, and I quote, " shes getting more buffs than nerfs". Are you saying that the jungle item, weak as it is, makes up for the nerfs in her kit? If so, I think you're just wrong. If not, then what are you referring to?

I have heard people saying the opposite about her. Next patch she is supposed to get even better thanks to the removal of devourer and the new jungle item. She will be dealing even more % health dmg and should be better unless her nerfs are significant on the next patch. Haven't seen any of what nerfs she is receiving though so could be wrong.

This is a little slower than S@20's summary of the patches, but at this point contains all necessary info nontheless.

For Kindred's changes:

  • Q reduced CD increased to 4/3.5/3/2.5/2 from 2 at all ranks.
  • W has a changed passive stack generation formula, lasts 8.5 seconds instead of 8 and does 50% increased damage to monsters

The Q nerf means that her early dueling and ganking power is significantly reduced, as she can now only use Q 3/3/3/4/5 times within one activation of W. The W buffs are there to compensate a bit for the clearing power removal the Q could have. Also, regarding the changed passive stack generation formula, we do not really have the absolute values currently.

The removal of Devourer turns her damage output towards being entirely physical damage - but armor values are generally greater than MR values except very early in the game. Also, unless the target has 1000 - 2500 HP, Bloodrazor will deal less damage than Devourer (30 magic on-hit)/Sated (for ranged, an average of 75 magic on-hit). If you include Kindred's favorite keystone, Fervor of Battle, the lost damage from Phantom Hit becomes even more pronounced, as max-stack Fervor deals 112 physical damage on-hit at level 18.

Next up on the list of nerfs to affect Kindred is the removal of Maw/Sterak's stacking, as their passive shields now share the same unique name (Lifeline). Meaning, proccing one will put both on cooldown. Beyond Kindred, this will also affect the other burst-resistant ADCs currently running around.

Next, an indirect nerf in the fact that Cinderhulk is buffed to be on par, damage-wise, with Sunfire Cape, which should buff tank junglers, among them her natural counter Gragas .

Kindred is pretty much permaban in high elo.

From my point of view, most of the hyper scaling champions reach their power in the mid-game, when they get X number of stacks and their core items. As the game goes on, getting more stacks becomes less of a priority as they don't help too much after that certain point...

She's not terribly powerful on her own which is what balances her. The reason she wins so much is the proper use of her ult.

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

no shes really powerful early game. the heal passive is extremely strong in early long fights. and the cooldown reduction on her Q is an obvious one.

also all of her 3 damaging abilities scale with base ad. your getting both base damage and base ad scalings which is extremely powerful early game.
