If you think SoloQ will mess up DynamicQ, let the community decide.

Most of us are aware of the post from Riot put out yesterday concerning the status of Dynamic Que. The message everyone got from it quite easily is that Riot believes that releasing solo que will complicate the glaring issues that dynamic que has shown us it posseses.

If that is the case, release Solo Que and let the people who play the game decide what is best.

If Dynamic Que dies out as a result of everyone going for the pure solo que we were promised twice and have been asking for for ages, then so be it. Let the people who put money in your pockets, spend time playing your game, and the people who bother spending their time on these boards in hopes of improving the game show you with numbers which que is the right one to invest time into.

Release Solo que and if Dynamic dies out, then let that be the case instead of you sitting there biting your fingernails at the "whatif" scenario of realizing dynamic que was a failure.

Edit 2: Link to a fellow board's member who broke down what likely caued Riot to implement DynamicQ and handle SoloQ in the manner it has been done. This post is mostly for skeptics, and if this post doesnt knock sense into you, quite frankly nothing will. http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/5E4pnUW5-why-there-will-never-be-a-ranked-solo-queue

Nononono. Riot believes community is too stupid to make correct decisions, that's why everything They say is final and spotless.

Of course Dynamic Queue will suffer. Lyte was responsible for it and nothing he ever had anything to do with was at least acceptable.

I wonder how many people are in the same boat as me. I haven't played ranked at all this season since I was waiting for soloqueue... [zombie-nunu-bummed]

I don't understand Riot logic. One day Lyte pulls out some hardcore statistic work that people prefer DynaQ over SoloQ. The other day Socrates is worried about the impact of releasing SoloQ on DynaQ.

Like what's the deal? No need to make SoloQ perfect. No need to balance it out. Simply release some side fun for the little tiny unimportant minority that wants it according to your research. We'll be happy, we'll shut up and it won't have any impact on DynaQ. Unless...

I love how everyone wants solo queue now after insulting everyone who said it was a bad idea to begin with

I honestly like dynamic queue. For normals.

But what do they do in the more likely case that neither solo queue nor dynamic queue are significantly more popular than the other, but they're both taking enough away from each other that neither of them are as popular as they need to be? Long queue times for both, etc.

I don't think Riot care as much about dynamic queue as everyone is saying, though I think they feel it's a better option than solo queue if one had to be chosen. I think what they're most concerned about is if both of them will kill each other should they coexist. If solo queue came out and dynamic queue instantly died then I imagine Riot would be fine with that and just get rid of dynamic queue, but I don't think that's the scenario they fear.
