You have given us a ETA for solo que TWICE now. "A few weeks" in early January, and "About a month and a half" in early March. Most of us are well aware of Riot Socrates comments yesterday saying "There is a world in which solo que does not happen" (paraphrased this one, forgive my laziness, someone can feel free to link the post/quote the comment), and the whole shenanigans of deleting solo que information from your own website. Not to mention being left in the dark about solo que for weeks and not a single Riot member commenting on the hundreds of post asking for even a little bit of information for solo que. The fact that solo que isn't coming is one thing, but lieing to your loyal fan base is not acceptable. You have made it clear that solo que was only promised to be a band-aid fix for the failure that was dynamic que and that you never had any intention in being of your word. Im ashamed to have been a fan of a company like yours.

Edit1: Link to a fellow board's member who broke down what likely caued Riot to implement DynamicQ and handle SoloQ in the manner it has been done. This is why they dont share anything. They dont wanna backtrack.

In the future all riot statements will be approved by lawyers first.

There are tons of players who play dinamic just for "pratice" and wait pure solo for the real ranking.

Cancel that and many will quit this game for good since there is no more competitive play.

Riot want to minimize this damage.

How much you want to bet solo queue is not being worked on at all and Riot just said that to get people to keep trying dynamic queue in the mean time?

I'm waiting for them to quote that BS suggestive survey by Lyte claiming that the majority of people are happy with dynamic queue so they've decided to cancel "development" on solo queue.

I hope I'm wrong, but each time I hear more information I fear this scenario more and more.

He doesnt live up to the name socrates and even disgraes it. That is not a good reason. Its a cop out/excuses for believing you do not stand to impact change. And is a logical fallacy. Its also easier to assume there aren't other universes than this one. Philosophy, the study of wisdom, contrary to popular belief, doe not meddle in far fetched concepts rather it seeks to dispel them.

Not giving information when nothing is certain is not lying. They needed to collect various data first and perhaps have an internal discussion what is to be done with Dynamic Queue.

Or perhaps you wanted any kind of information and when it proved untrue, you'd just use that to lynch them? Because we all know this backfired in their faces when they made an early announcement about Magma Chamber. They made the right call this time.

Solo Q will come when we get sandbox mode, graves gets his cigar back, yorick gets a rework, summoners rift gets a theme skin, and mages get some updated items again.

I don't understand the assumption that they're lying about anything. They said in January that they were planning to bring back solo queue a couple times and it hasn't happened. That's all that's gone on. They might have jumped the gun on the announcements when it wasn't ready to happen (which isn't at all surprising since, from what I remember, they originally said that dynamic queue was intended to replace solo queue and they were only bringing back solo queue because players said they wanted it, so I'm betting they probably didn't have people working on making solo queue happen at the time), but that's not lying. They may have tried to get it going but had other problems to work on, like everything else that was in that long post from yesterday about the current problems with dynamic queue. And this isn't even the first time dynamic queue has had problems: Remember when they had to shut down the new champion select entirely for a few days and the old solo queue replaced dynamic queue? Shit happens, things come up, and they can't always get things out that they want to. They might announce things prematurely and they definitely make mistakes (like, you know, absolutely every person and every company that's existed), but that doesn't make them liars or mean they don't care about the players. At least they came out and said that they messed up, and that's more than happens with a lot of people and businesses.

And none of this means that I'm saying Riot DIDN'T mess up with how they've handled the solo queue situation this season. They did. They said they did, everyone knows they did, no one can argue that. But there's no reason to start bashing the company and calling them liars and saying they don't care just because you're upset by what's going on and how it was handled up until now. I'm sure everyone reading this has said they were going to do something and then couldn't for one reason or another, and expecting the human beings sitting behind the computer screens at Riot to never be stuck in that situation is pretty ridiculous.

Who cares if it's not acceptable, you will all still keep playing and throwing your money at them. Do something other than complaining on the boards for 10 minutes and you might actually get a response
