Just how long before something is ever done about Warwick?

Kinda sad how this guy just has been left in the dust for so long. So far only Devourer is really putting him in any good spot right now. He doesn't really work properly in team fights at all. I ult any squishy I want and still get peeled off and blown up, so trying to go for an onhit warwick leaves you too squishy anyways. The only way he survives in fights is getting consecutive autos and having good followups by your teammates if possible. The way he is now I see no reason to pick warwick. He's worse than any other devourer jungler since for one he can't perform any ganks pre 6 and then has to ignore his team even longer to farm his devourer up. His kit is just very outdated and it sucks to see him unplayable due to how unfavorable he is in the meta considering he's one of my favorite junglers. Maybe I'm just wrong and he has to be played full tank and nothing else, I don't know about that, but he's severely lacking the way he is now with no type of gap closer besides his ult or any instant mobility. I just wish to know how soon are there any plans for working on him. You honestly can't destroy him anymore if you tried so it can only go uphill.
