trundles q tooltip.

this is the actual ingame tooltip.

Chomp

Trundle lunges at his opponent with his next basic attack, dealing 20/40/60/80/100 (+0.8/0.9/1/1.1/1.2) physical damage** and briefly slowing his target. ** This attack increases Trundle's Attack Damage by 20/25/30/35/40 for 8 seconds, with his opponent losing half of this amount.

are you for real riot? what does "briefly slowing his target" mean? by how much? for how long?

personally, im already anoyed how i have to either google for champion kits or open a custom game whenever i want actual relevant information about a champions ability, because the in client pages are entirely useless due to their vague description instead of providing actual numbers. even the pages here on your homepage are often missing valuable info like ability cooldowns.

but i dont even know how to describe this. isnt that a little bit embarassing? please update your champion pages here to contain all the information about champions abilities. and please update this ingame tooltip and any others that are missing crucial information.

Seriously. When I look to buy a new champ, I want to know the scaling, the damage, the details. Not "They do this for some time while that happens for a decent amount. Trust us, it works so don't question it, and no I did not show my work, but it works." as a selling point.

This will all change on the new client. Trust me, it's already there will all detailed info.

League is full of shit like this, it's some tiny slow tho. Like 10% and for almost no time at all.

but what does almost no time mean? is it a second? half a second? is it actually 10%? there is really no way to know from the information riot is giving us.

ik. this applies to other things in the game. i know a few "deals a small amount of damage" tooltips exist.

the slow i believe is actually 75% for 0.1 seconds.

there are a bunch of. "Deals a large amount of damage" tooltips its stupid.

aha. I didn't know that. .1 seconds is almost nothing tho.

it really is tbh. riot needs to change clarity in some tooltips.

I still laugh about how Zyra's passive said "When an enemy champion steps on a seed, it dies"

Gnar E too

Why does it slow at all? He's already got a massive auto range, he doesn't need to slow to keep up. (Let's not forget his frozen domain and ice dick too...)

i dont know. maybe it has to do with the animation.

Wow really? You are honestly complaining about "briefly slowing"?

Is this a troll post?

Are you actually Trundle?

im complaining that even the actual ingame tooltip to the ability just gives us vague information. i dont know what the point of it is. i mean are they really dumbing the game down that much?

when i play a champion, i want to actually know what he does.

Tobias Brackner1 votes

Yeah, because the vague information is 100% accurate.

When Trundle bites you, you are slowed briefly. Like not even a second.

You actually know exactly what it does the moment you bite someone.

His chomp slows for like .1 seconds by 75% to make it look like he's actually biting the target. It's really not a significant part of the power and is there more for cosmetic reasons than to give him another slow.

Trundle, prerework, had one immense weakness: His animations all took freaking years to perform.

Whilst Trundle's new Q is quick by old standards (Old Q animation literally took 2 seconds, during which he couldn't move or auto or anything) it's still a pretty long animation by current guidelines. This is especially problematic given Trundle is an AA reliant zone-control champion who doesn't have any gap closers other than a stationary movement speed increase and a stationary snare zone.

To counteract this, Trundle's Q applies a fairly hefty snare (I think it was nerfed down to 60%?) for the duration of the animation. I think it's .25 seconds?

It's 75% for a tenth of a second

same thing with Gnar E, it just says slows the opponent not the amount

ChaosThief1 votes

The slow lasts something between 0.25 - 0.5 seconds, not exactly sure since I never bothered to time it.
