They would rather lose the game than gank for him. Seriously - and if you think that leaving him to his own devices is proving a point, then you're wrong. If Yasuo gets camped and you haven't ganked him once, you can't turn around and complain about how 'every yas on their team is godlike but on my team is trash', because at that point it's likely that it's your stubborness and insistence on not pooling any resources into Yasuo due to personal bias that's creating such a result, not some kind of horrid twist of probability.
