Can we get some conditional True Sight effects in game?

Such as:

"Your champion gains TS of invis enemies who have been within their Field of Sight for 2.5+ seconds." "Your champion gains 1.5s of TS when their model collides with the model of an invis champion." "Your champion gains TS in a 60 degree cone in the target direction. This effect lasts 5 seconds."

I know it was terrible for invis champions to be countered by Pink Wards, as they were an instant-speed AoE of True Sight, but is having 0 counter items the way to go?

It's like Riot went from one extreme to the other.

That just makes invis crappy at higher/more coordinated levels of play; the same reason they removed the pink ward counter.

We still have scanner for them don't we? That's decent no?

Scanner was a nice first step, but in order for invisibility to thrive we need more counters. Each of those counters must be expressed differently, since each instance of invisibility is different and no one form should counter them all.

And TS in and of itself doesn't make invis 'crappy'. Rather, it was the way that TS expressed itself via Pink Wards - an instant speed 1000 unit AoE of True Sight. In terms of power level, it came close to TF's Destiny.

We do have more than scanner. We have scanner, pinks acting like scanner, shimmer on-hit, specific reveal abilities, the stealth only lasting a short time, the stealth sometimes being confined to an area... Not sure what else could be done without making invis feel bad again.

Scanner does nothing if you're a champion that deals most of their damage through targetting abilities

yes

Then my answer to your post is "that's a good thing". Point and click has very few counters.

There are very few champs with only/mostly targeted abilities. True invis only gives pockets of stealth too, so it's not like they're invis very long.

If the particular case in the game is too long for your champ to survive then you either shouldn't be matching the stealth champ after laning phase or should stay under tower for its true sight. Either way, that's why the game has teammates and they added the shimmer on-hit. (yes, it seems like a scapegoat, but it's true.)

All auto attackers in the game deal most of their damage with targetted AAs as well

You're right. And said auto attackers fall under two broad categories of decently tanky (so they can survive if they play their cards right) to squishies that blow up if they aren't with their team/they aren't ready to be jumped on.

Coincidentally, the second category's members are the priority target of the true invis champs, and we both know that 2-3 crits could completely wipe out the invis champ before they could reach the squishy before. The pink interaction was night and day, and wasn't fun.
