i think it should be reverted back when item 3649 was obtainable or the option to upgrade your warding totem. basically season 5 vision.

I don't think vision needs changes, I think the champs need changes. A lot of stealth champs are older and pretty badly designed.

100%. Vayne having no stealth counter is so frustrating. If she get's a lead, it's really hard to come back nowadays.

Yeah lets go back to a time Where shaco and akali are utter garbage picks due to 75 gold item. 75 gold item made them utterly useless in high elo Vayne had similar problem to

I think it's pretty good as is. Invisibility having two forms is the best so blink stealths can actually work as intended. Too many words are toxic

Vision sure needs to be looked at - or just a revert to pre S6 Stealth however is in the best spot it has ever been The split into invis and camu was really needed, and no longer haveing an easy way to hardcounter invis helps balanceing alot. However, the balanceing part of invis seems to need some more work. I think some invis abillities have to much durationShaco or can be spammedVayne a bit to much given that you can't counter it anymore . I also think there is room for some more soft-counters, giving better clues on where the invis champ is without directly revealing it(so still imune to point n click) Invis should be mostly about avoiding focus, a defensive mechanic, and not for easy backline acces. that's what camu is there for.

Thoughts on vision and stealth right now:

  • Looking at Camouflage and how it works in practice, I don't think it really does the best job of providing counterplay, and is fundamentally flawed. It was given to three champions who all lacked (and still lack) counterplay in order to let players react to them a little sooner, but that fundamentally clashes with the core purpose of invisibility, which is to allow champions to move through enemies unseen and strike by surprise. What these champions need is more interactivity in combat, not watered down invisibility, as even with camouflage they still have fairly reliable target access in addition to their upfront burst.
  • Vision definitely could be developed more, and I'm personally not a fan of Control Wards, which serve purely to one-up regular wards. We need access to vision tools that are genuinely fun and that attract players' attention, instead of the current boring-yet-necessary items that a huge number of people still forget to use as much as they can.
  • I'd like to see stealth implemented in more diverse ways than invisibility or camouflage. Invisibility in its own way is kind of anti-stealth gameplay, because it more or less guarantees that players have no way of detecting champions making a move on them. Encouraging stealth champions to play with vision, exploit the enemy's blind spots, or leaves clues to their presence could all make stealth gameplay as a whole much more diverse and interactive.

TBH give people 2 red wards as their max and you fix most of the issues. It's like old buyable wards but a slightly lower cap that's inbetween now and before, there's more red wards to spot annoyances like Twitch/Eve/Shaco, more wards means 1400 range initiators like Sejuani and Zac are more spottable since there's usually 2-3 paths they have to get to you and if one is blind they can jump at you without any punishment. They intentionally nerfed vision to create a more gank heavy meta but if people hate these ganks so much you only need slightly more vision on the map and it'll relieve a lot of the problem.

IMO they're only 2 stealth problem in this game atm Shaco Vayne.

Could add Twitch, but the problem with him is his attacks range.

There should be an option that reveals all stealth in some radius, so you could actually counterplay Vayne in teamfights.
