So... this Miss Fortune rework didn't fix a single thing for her?

She was never a toxic champion and all we ever asked for was strut not being cancelled by minions. They barely changed a thing about her, it was more of a rebalance of her ratios and base damage + the removal of her grievous wounds.

If anything MF has lost the only thing that gave her identity and set her apart from the other immobile ADCs. She basically just has annoying pew pew poke that's only useful in lane, while other more common ADCs have mobility, % health true damage, better steroids, utility, etc. Her ultimate would be strong in teamfights if not for the fact that most of an ADCs absurd damage is attributed to critical hits and it can easily be stopped by any hard CC.

I mean what has this rework accomplished exactly? Her power isn't really changed, there's still no reason to pick her. Grievous wounds wasn't all that great, but it was the only reason to pick MF over any other ADC.

All you need to do Riot, is give her active strut the same effect Teemo has. He gains passive MS only when he hasn't taken damage, but when active, it ignores that requirement and his MS is buffed for 3 seconds regardless of taking damage. That or make it harder to cancel (minion damage).

Did you even look at the changes? They literally nerfed Rank 5 E Slow %, Removed Grievous Wounds from her W entirely and said 'but don't worry, we gave her a Passive reset when you activate W and some highly conditional trading power on Q'.

They nerfed the slow but you're more likely to get more of the damage off because the time was reduced. I didn't comment on that because I felt it sort of evened itself out. Also I mentioned that all they did was rebalance some numbers, and the E is one of those skills that had been rebalanced.

DO you really think I'd make a thread without knowing all of her changes? She got a power shift. Basically all of her abilities were nerfed except her Q which is hellishly strong in lane but does nothing later.

No, a power shift is removing something substantial then making substantial compensation by adding something meaningful to another ability. Grievous Wounds was A LOT of MF's trading power, and all they did to compensate for it was a mind MS boost that can get cancelled by getting hit.

Which is exactly what I addressed in the main post. What exactly are you arguing about?

There's a lot of reasons to pick Miss Fortune over a lot of ADCs, and I've had the opportunity to play Miss Fortune in all game modes/maps in League of Legends including Ranked to support this.

Miss Fortune's early game is easily the best of the Marksmen/ADC class, in comparison to Caitlyn, she is much less safe, however Miss Fortune has stronger poke, on lower cooldowns, that's easier to hit, and also has less mana costs. Miss Fortune also unlike Caitlyn, can very easily all-in someone without poking them down. If Caitlyn tried to all-in someone without poking them down, she would probably die very fast.

Miss Fortune's flexibility allows her to fit well into and against any team comp, and also makes her one of the best ADCs if not the best for solo queue due to how reliable she is also. Miss Fortune can do basically any ADC can with the exception of being a late game hypercarry, which only a few ADCs are designed to do. She may not do them all the best, but she definitely can do them all. Unlike Vayne for example, who can't teamfight for her life. Miss Fortune has the best of both worlds and has it a lot easier than most ADCs. Since someone like Kog'Maw can be countered by his own team if they aren't tanky enough to peel for him, or someone like Vayne, Caitlyn, or Draven can be countered really well by the enemy team. This rarely happens to Miss Fortune and makes her such a solid pick, especially in solo queue.

Um? I don't think the fact she's Miss Fortune has any relevance to it, I think it might be more so the player.

since you main MF, can you tell me what i'm supposed to do as her

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but she feels extremely unsatisfying to play especially with this imaginary buff to reactivate Strut, only for it to be immediately canceled by a ranged minion that just hit you

am I supposed to rush item 3072 immediately for the shield to prevent this kind of stuff from happening?

My typical build, for when I'm ahead (I believe I get fed 19/20 games I play with her) is item 3031 item 3006 item 3046 item 3046 item 3072 item 3026

Rushing Bloodthirster is good against champions with a lot of poke.

These are some tips I have, a lot of MF players fail to do these:

-Use your Q as an auto attack reset -Don't spam your E, it doesn't do damage -Don't be afraid to use your ult in a duel since it will do damage the more you auto attack -Don't be afraid to take a little extra damage, MF is a little bit tanky in comparison to most ADCs -Use your W for farming or pushing, but save it for engages -Take Q > W > E and max it in that order -Try to get kills early game since you basically can 1v1 any ADC and a lot of times I've actually 1v3'ed and got a triple kill -Don't build Trinity Force, Essence Reaver, Statikk Shiv, or Hextech Gunblade

There's really not a whole lot to Miss Fortune, her kit is pretty basic aside from her E which has a billion uses for every different situation. I'm in all honesty shocked by how the community judges her as trash-tier, despite her being really strong and so easy to play and so reliable along with that.

well I just finished a game with her and I don't think I've ever had a miserable time playing a champion as I've had playing her

even when I was doing well early it felt abysmal and I wanted the game to end so I could pick someone else. ofc it ended up being a 45 minute game though, so Malphite and Rengar took their sweet time invalidating me completely

i don't think i'm going to learn this character without gouging my eyes out

She is better. Only cost $6,000,000

I just think that this iteration of MF is unusable now. When MF was strong way back at the beginning of season 3, she was combo'd with Amumu if anyone remembers Curse of the Sad Bullet Time. After nerfs to both Amumu, and slight changes to MF she fell into obscurity. Then in season 4 ricklessabandon reworked her do all this strange mixed damage. It seems that they are adamant of making it work now.
