What type of people play the different roles?

Recently I've played many different roles, as I intend to become a multi-purpose player in hopes to help my chances to proceed through the ranks of league. While I am a generally neutral player when it comes to champion select, and in-game I have noticed that there are many different "unique" types of players.

Each different role, has a very different player, with his or her own preferences. As long as that person plays with a champion well-within the meta for their lane, I find that the personality will stay relatively similar.

I am going to identify several different lanes, and the different types of champion styles that break down into sub-styles. These are the main categories I will be covering.(I will briefly touch several awkward roles, like assassin bots and other similar weird roles.) 1 (how I'm going to explain and cover each role) 2 Top - Fighter, tank, assassin (then the rare and generally hated marksmen tops) 3 Mid - Mage, fighter, assassins (then the even more rare "tank" mid) 4 Jungle - Tank, fighter, assassin. (the outdated marksman, which I will still cover) 5 Support - Tank, mage. (there are others like assassins, and fighters which typically don't work) 6 Marksman - Marksman ( then the trolls/meta-breakers which are funny from time to time.)

DISCLAMER:::: None of this is to be taken more seriously than you would want it to be. I do not mean to offend anyone, and if you get called out for being stereotypical, and or are easily offended, please do not read on. There are exemptions to everything I will state, PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND.

1 I am going to briefly bring up each role that appears in each lane, I will state my experiences and my own personal actions when I play each role.

2 Top lane. Top lane is one of my favorite roles, as I enjoy playing solo lanes and winning even fights as much as the next guy, but some times the most toxic players reside top so beware.

2:1 Fighter top lanes: Fighter is the most common style of top laners today, and as such I can't simply put on generalization on it as a whole. Most top laners who play fighters desire to stomp their laner, and want to hike up their carry pants mid-late game, I find this often to be the case, and I myself tend to participate in this fun little endeavor. Unfortunatetly with the desire to carry comes the tendency to roam. Now, roaming in itself is good, and in most cases very beneficial to your immediate lane neighbors, and can help a losing lane come back. However, roaming requires proper timing, or an AD based top laner may be able to push your turret while you are out. I have seen and had this happen far too many times, and this tends to enrage the top laner, and especially fighters. The aggressive style players tend to lose hope entirely if they lose hard, even if just by a small margin, and get extremely cocky if fed in the slightest. Top fighters can be a hit or miss, you could get a good, and humble fighter who plays because it's fun, or you could get stuck with some cry baby, who rages and blames all other lanes if ANYONE loses a lane.

2:2 Assassin top lanes. I personally hate the assassin champions. Not like everyone would expect, like they're op, or they're not fun to play against. No, that's not the problem. My problem is that most people that play assassins are cocky and toxic as raw sewage, and are blind to any mistake they make. This blindness prevents them from becoming better players, and often results in destroying their own chances of winning. Assassins should stay out of top, because it is a very vital role, as most of the tank in your team will either come from top/jungle/or very rarely today, support.

(Stub, I am currently finishing this, and it will be done in a couple of days, please refrain from yelling until you are able to read the entire forum post)

Marksman, any lane. They are usually the first to rage at the team if they die once. No matter how they die.

9 out of 10 marksman believe they are Doublelift and act just like him. Ego, quick to go on tilt, they should be allowed to farm every lane(even when they shouldn't be), and it is everyone elses fault regardless of the circumstance.

Assassins and top laners.

I don't think you can size things up this way.

I do find that people who are quick to call roles or champions though are typically bad on them. Those guys who say "fill" actually tend to be pretty damn good at no matter what they get.

Coincidence?

I think it depends here. Most people that say like "I prefer x or x" usually seem fine. But more times than not...and funny enough with Teemo "I got this guys, gonna wreck this game" end up feeding like nobody's business. I don't tend to see the people that fill do that great, sort of middle of the road because they might get lucky and get what they are good at or end up being stuck jungling and die at blue buff 3 times in a row or something, it is a roll of the dice on that one.

In most cases whether I am supporting or top lane the ADC (can't stand them being called marksman still, just a thing I guess I will never get used to) is always the first to actually be angry and blame everyone else, mostly the support or jungler. They dive in and expect you to read their mind, but you are oom, your fault they flashed in with no warning and were melted. The jungler came in but the enemy team backed off...they still go in (I've even seen adcs tower dive by themselveS) junglers fault for not following, supports fault for not saving them.

Always always always see the ADC first to say gg (in the negative way) if anyone dies, especially if enemy gets first blood.ADC will always start the surrender vote at 20, especially if they are down by a lot even if everyone else is doing great, but their egos tend to be very fragile (much like you were actually saying about the top laners).

Now that being said, top laners are always the second to act exactly the same as above but mostly just yelling at everyone if they dare die one single time. If they back or leave lane or do anything and they lose their tower, is the team's fault for not saving it while they weren't there, etc.

I've never seen a mid laner full on rage, most times they seem rather nice or neutral or just don't talk, not that they have never raged but I don't see it but maybe once in like 50 games and usually it is because they are doing pretty poor and tilting hard.

It actually seems to depend with junglers who they are playing. I seem to see people playing tanks oddly enough be more ragey because they seem to have a bit of an ego about it during that game that if they go on regardless of how bad an idea the team better get an ace every time and flail if they don't. With the likes of Yi for example I usually just seem them do their thing good or bad and not seem to care enough to rage (in a good way).

Support...it depends. If it is a support main they don't talk much, if it is someone who didn't want to support oh dear god you might as well mute them from the start because every CS the adc misses or every kill they don't get "you are the worst adc ever" etc etc.

Definitely the Mid Lane, nvm if Assasin or mage, god, i really like to play midlane as my main role, but every second game there is an idiot Instalocker with: " Mid or Feed, Scrubs go f**** urself gonna carry this shit" Which always leads to a lose because our midlane ist 1/9 ...

Any support main (like meh) will agree with me that marksmen are the most toxic. I just hate some marksmen. They always think you're their personal bitch, it's just so...

IRRITATING!!

But then there are some angels out there that are nice and care about the support. They aren't that rare, but playing alongside them, including the enemy ADC is just so relieving.

You missed your cc ability, good try. Your shield was just .5 seconds off of cooldown to prevent my death, try to get some CDR next time. The laid back players, any role, are simply a joy to play with (because i don't play ranked :D)

I've been getting very lucky with my marksmen lately, lot's of praise even if the match ends in a defeat. I try and approach every team with the intent to be as friendly as possible, especially to my lane partner. After all, I depend on them just as much as they depend on me.
