Backdooring is the most uninspired, uninteractive cheese in this entire game: a Trynd complaint

Incognonymous··10 votes·830 views

Seriously. This is pure exploitation of Riot's failed design paradigm and the surest sign that the weakness of structures this preseason is a disgusting joke. All it comes down to is which team has the most teleports up at a time and which cheesy piece of shit champ was picked to do it.

What was in mind when Trynd was designed? A howling, unstoppable barbarian that through fury alone could will himself through the battlefield to kill the enemy carry. So why then, for season after season, is he allowed to stand under turret for five seconds getting free hits, spinning away at first sign of trouble, or simply killing whoever his sent after him? Send two? Now his team will win the resulting 3v4. It doesn't matter if Trynd was a feeding piece of shit all game long. Doesn't matter if you kill him while he's pushing your turrets. He'll be back, and the second you step out of lane, your tower and inhib are gone.

This is not okay.

or maybe you should have better map awareness and play around tryndamere rather than complaining

What the fuck does map awareness mean in the face of an instantaneous teleport anywhere on the motherfucking map? Nothing? That's what I fucking thought.

9 people should not have to play around the stupid exploitation of poor game mechanics by 1 piece of shit. Backdoor Trynd players deserve to be staked down on fireant beds for wasting other peoples' time.

it means you need to play around their teleport cooldown and potential ward spots.

i recommend learning to play than foaming at the mouth

What do you do if they have 2 TP champions that can wreck turrets? Work around their constant teleport threat by never leaving the base?

colesy1 votes

they can't push if they don't have a minion wave, so keep the side lanes pushed out and then either force mid or pressure baron. you'll base race faster than they will since you'll have empowered minions and your whole team and they'll just be splitting with a lousy base defense.

you need to actually think a bit rather than just crying, it would do you a world of good.

Maybe in past seasons. You can solo an inhib turret with elixir and 5 items now. No minion wave.

and why exactly are you letting the game last long enough for a trynd to get 5 items?

Here it is: the stupidest fucking thing I've read all day. Slip and slide off my taint you rancid piece of shit. I hope you read this before the mods delete it. Fuck you.

you think it's stupid because you're mad and I'm actually offering you the counter play for split push but for some reason you don't want to learn and would rather just throw insults around. like idk man, you can either learn how to deal with it or stay in wood league and keep on complaining about your problems rather than fixing them.

There is no counter play outside of a direct buff to structure strength.

The problem I have with split pushing is you don't even have to have minions to do it. It's especially lame once you lose nexus towers. What the heck can you do then? They have tp and can jump over your wall with flash or some ability. and you don't even have time to react. It should be required to have minions to deal damage to the nexus IMO. Or like in DOTA - you can make your base invulnerable for a short amount of time. So you have time to TP home to deal with it after you win the team fight.

He'd have to be pretty fed to take down a turret in 5 seconds O.O

5 seconds of free hits on a turret. Plus, it's Trynd. I'm absolutely, 100% okay with someone who can damage structures like Trynd IF they can't also kill whoever is sent to respond. That's too much though. That's ridiculous.

DeynaTaggerung1 votes

That's the point of split pushing though. Get fed enough that the enemy team can't send any one person to stop you. Either they send 1 or less and lose the turret(s) or send two and leave your team at an advantage. The thing is, he doesn't start out with the ability to 1v1 anyone in the game, that comes over time

It isnt the biggest offense. And splitpush tryndamere is worthless if his team cant win the fight. If you ignore him and kill the opponents, you can send as many as you want to kill him, and push down mid afterwards. The issue you are talking about is due to his horrible teamfight power, which is just tunnel and kill things. This can be considered trying to force a 1v1, where in a good team you have2 tanks, 1 support, 1 ap carry, 1 ad carry(as in carries by building ad) tryndamere will typically have 1 tank, 1 support, 2 ad carries, and 1 ap carry. Tanks >ad carry in terms of use

From a trynd main who understands completely

I suggest they try the game pacman and leave it at that

It's an essential part of the rock-paper-scissors of League: wombo combo beats siege, siege beats split push, and split push beats wombo combo. If you just remove one (and how would you propose to do it?), then you lose a big part of the metagame.

This is false. Not only is this false, it hasn't ever been true.

What do you mean? This IS patently how League works. If their teamcomp has a bunch of great teamfight ults, Malphite MissFortune Leona Orianna JarvanIV you don't want to fight them all at once, so you split push and take down the members of the combo individually. If they have a strong split push composition, Tryndamere Diana Fizz Lucian Alistar they won't fight you as a group, so you group up and siege down towers, forcing them to respond. If they have a good poke/siege team, Veigar Caitlyn Jayce Janna Rammus your best bet is to hard engage on them and kill them before taking an objective and counterpushing.

Splitpush counters wombo counters siege counters splitpush.

No, but thanks for all the effort in this post. Makes ignoring you all the sweeter.

Do you want to offer a scrap of evidence or argument, or are you just going to flatly deny whatever I say without explanation? If this isn't right, how DOES League work?

Teleport has a long cooldown. There's plenty of opportunity to beat Trynd, or his win rate would be a lot higher.

Now, you may have a point about backdooring being a fun part of the game, but you won't get much positive attention or valuable discussion with a post worded like this. That's for sure. So if that's your goal, it's not going to work. If that's not your goal, then what is?

There is no debate here, so I will not use a coward's rhetoric. The title is a statement. A statement you resonate with. That is the purpose and extent of this thread.
