Infernal drake needs to be toned down.

It gives way too much damage to the ahead team and it makes comebacks near impossible. Even if you stall to late game, you will never outscale them as 1 infernal drake gives about 1-1.5k in stats. A 6 item lucian with an infernal drake will out dps a 6 item tristana with no infernal drake.

I love losing a game to an infernal dragon it's fun and interactive.

As someone who is also silver, I can honestly say the infernal is easily available to either team, not just the one that's already ahead.

Anyway, one infernal isn't the end of the world, 2 kinda is. In general, I think they should all be around that power level.

It's impossible to contest drake when your team is behind. If it's an infernal, the enemy team will 5 man it.

This simply almost never happens in Silver unless you're a 5 man premade. I main jungle and I feel like 5 of the first 20 minutes are me trying to low key clear wards around dragon and catch the enemy JG top side so I can solo the damn things as no one else will go near them.

At higher rating you might have a point, but at silver, people REALLY don't push these things most games. In fact, people in silver usually don't even guard the jungle at lvl 1, they just afk by their towers. Can't count the number of times I walked into the top side of enemy JG with wreckless abandon, took their stuff and walked off.

Now, at a higher MMR someone might have a point, IDK as I don't play there. That said, these are meant to be tools, objectives to help secure a win, or an opportunity to catch back up from behind. If you can't win the fight for it without it, perhaps the opponent is simply better and is going for those secure the win objectives.

translate: prioritize infernal drake over all the other drakes.

I put a lot of effort into all of them, they really add up.

oh i bet. as does Cloud Drakes. turrets are weak enough where you can destroy them without Mountain Drake and Ocean Drake regen is kinda weak.

I think the true value of mountain drake is its potential to quickly kill baron.

The problem with Infernal isn't that it damage boosts. The problem is this: Different champions use its buff differently.

Infernal affects the direct offensive stats you have, not base % damage etc.

So..... an Udyr..... or Lee Sin.... champs that have 300% + AD scaling...... can nearly triple its rewards for landing a single skill, compared to champs who have 70-80% AP or AD scaling.

In other words, it creates damage spikes for some champs, which when they get the drake, pretty much seals the game through their scaling ratios.

While..... for other champs..... like Morgana..... it barely raises their ambient DoT damage at all.
