Making a giant wall from out of you from across the map really isn't doing anything useful aside from maybe blocking off dragon or baron fights. Also if you block someone off you don't even get am assist. Meanwhile you have to wait another 2 mins for your ult to come back

You just have to use her ult at the right time. Her ult is great in team fights. Not sure exactly how you are using it, but it's a great ult actually.

Or you can use it when needed in team fights when you are somewhere else? I've seen MANY good taliyah ults.
