So I got generally curious, assuming she is outnumbered, has legend tenacity fully stacked, unfliching from resolve tree, merc threads, steraks gage shield pop, and elixir of iron how much tenacity would she be able to achieve? Anyone know math behind tenacity stacking?
Don't know the math but i'd bet it's still irrelevant cause everything is knockbacks and knockups lol
No, because calculating Tenacity is multiplicative and not additive.
Tenacity stacks multiplicatively, rather than additively, which means that no matter how much of it you get, you will never get exactly 100%, even if you can get very close. The maximum Irelia can get, with Unflinching, Legend: Tenacity, Merc Treads, Sterak's Gage, and Elixir of Iron, is 1 - (0.6 x 0.8 x 0.68 x 0.7 x 0.7 x 0.75) = 88% Tenacity. Garen can exceed this by going at 92% Tenacity with his W, and while both values are very good, they're not quite 100%.
