what if we kept brawlers, but without attaching the currency to objectives/kills?

just give out the tokens passively in regular intervals? like 1 kraken every minute should do it.

this way we could keep them as a strategic element in the game without causing additional snowballing. both teams would gain them at an equal rate, no matter how far ahead or behind they are in k/d/a, map control or barons/dragons.

the difference would come down to which brawlers each team decides to purchase and at what stage they want to invest into them.

for example a team thats behind might want to chose the upgrade on the support minions to better help them defend their jungle with the cv effect.

while a team thats ahead might want to invest more heavily into tank minions and ranged minions to push down turrets.

i think brawlers could add some seriously interesting element to the game. please consider making them part of the regular game.

no. I hate the minions.

i find them the most interesting addition to the game in 5 years.

its not just adding/removing champions and items. the only actual change theyve done to the game was a few slight layout adjustments, and the addition of scuttles.

but the brawlers are an actual new element/mechanic to the game that gives the gameplay a little more depth. dont see a reason to hate them.

They're frustrating to deal with every single game for me. Old Fiora ult level frustrating. Farming is supposed to be fun.

i hope they keep the freaking game mode permanent or put some of those items in normal SR

I managed to break the ADC meta plague 8/10 in all those game thanks to item 3742 item 3742 item 3924 item 3430 item 3841

with an item AP we can push better than in SR without the ADC, we can deal with poke as a melee against range, and we can protect a melee champion

except for the damage portion that feels kindof underwhelming, dead mans plate is pretty awesome. i definitely like the movement speed part of it.

I think the main issue is that they make wave clear a bit too important. While it's definitely true that they wouldn't be implemented as they are now I have seen far too many players playing low wave clear champions die while trying to clear a 10 razorfin wave.

Basically if the minions are actually worth buying they would have to have utility over combat abilities, which may or may not make them a worth while addition.

No. I hate these brawlers. Sustain and minion clear champs are super overpowered because the minions are way too strong for low clear low sustain champs to handle.

they could be rebalanced to not crap on low waveclear champs. doesnt mean we should scrap the concept altogether.

especially if we give out krakens over the course of the game, we limit the point at which you can first upgrade them and give champions with low waveclear a chance to itemize a bit more into it (grab tiamat/hydra/stattic shiv etc).
