Control wards and ward slot

Vision Wards (pink) removed and replaced by Control Wards. These cost 50g plus disable & reveal nearby wards and traps - they also reveal camouflaged units.

Can we please get a ward slot for this item? I think people have been asking for this a long time and Riot wants to stimulate using this ward but especially higher elo supports keep 1 slot open just to be able to have a pink/control ward in their inventory and I think it's unfair that they cannot finish their build like the rest of the players.

So maybe just add a ward slot just for supports because they already have to sacrifice xp/levels.

EDIT: What is actually the difference between this and a pink ward other than the fact that it disables other wards?

I don't understand why they didn't keep the pink ward upgrade to trinket... that was my go-to ward upgrade as support after sightstone..

the difference is that the control ward doesn't reveal "invisible" champs. eve rengar twitch stealth is called camouflage. vayne, akali stealth is called invisiblity. basically the ward doesn't reveal vayne stealth no more

Have you seen how dota handles wards before? I think this game could benefit from this, putting all of your warding items together in one slot, and double tapping to switch between which one will be placed. Ex: Eye of the Oasis and Control ward both in same slot, double tapping it switches which one is in front of the other to indicate which will be placed upon use.
