IAmWoralo23 votesWhen I get killed at blue or red by kindred, lee sin or whatever and then again and again so my complete jungle is ruined I tend to say "Fuck off" or "GTFO my jungle", but that's something completely different than raging or flaming game after game and then when you win a game say GG Easy to top things off.
I have said some bad things in the past and I have had 2 ranked bans, then I reformed and just learnt to mute. Nobody is perfect and most of the time we get what we deserve, so I think this guy got what he deserved.

There is nothing wrong with being frustrated it creates opportunity to learn and reflect upon one's behaviour, but for many of us it's a real challenge to stay calm and not flame.

Not affecting me doesn't change the fact it could set someone off onto a toxic mess, ruining plenty of other games because one asshole had to rub his victory into his opponent's face.
If the truly toxic player isn't stopped, his toxicity spreads by making other players rage.
You can't truly stop toxicity, but you can still minimize it by cutting out the worst of it.

So I get what you're trying to compare...but they are two different things. Considering coaches yelling at players is not uncommon at all, let alone punishable. Instead, compare League to club penguin. Much more accurate.

I've had games where a laner got pissed and said in all chat 'you guys win running mid' and proceeded to just suicide mid ending the game like 2/20. He mentioned to us in AC that he was just going to feed to 'teach somebody a lesson'. I feel that horrible scores paired with chat admitting you're feeding should be instant grounds for at least a day+ ban.
