Yes and you know what, I have a 6 month old daughter together with my wife who plays too! I have a fulltime job but I am one of the lucky guys who has some time to play at work and whenever the baby allows us I can play at home too. We like to play to blow off steam from the long days we have. Also I read that the average age of gamers is 35 years old, not sure it's true but still. Age discrimination is a large part of League and it shouldn't be. Not the kids calling out the older people and neither the older people calling the kids spoiled brats or anything. I've had enough 17 year old duo's that were actually great and very polite just as I have had my share of 23 year old raging and screaming at people to uninstall.

I'm a proud, working father who plays games whenever he can. Fvck you stereotypes!

There is an age discrimination in League?

...You know, I think it is mainly in the toxic players, who typically call the people that report them "12-year old babies". Just ignore, mute, report, and move on said toxic players. They aren't welcome in this community until they learn to be sensible.

I'm a74 year old man. I play a lot of league which helps me stay mentaly engaged. i have no family and am alone in my home 95% of the day with my dog Harley. I do other things such as read books, cook, gardening and walk Harley. These days it's more Harley taking me for a walk.

I'm a retired banker who has played and loved videogames since I first played Pong. Long live the mighty Pong! You see, to me, videogames are life. Or a part of them. I once thought I would grow out of them in my days of courting ladies but 40-50 years later I find myself still doing what brings me joy in life.

If your going to do something you love and have fun doing, then do it with love and make it about the fun. I recently started playing league but have played often these past few months or so. Video games are a part of life and the people playing them are real. Be kind to eachother and treat eachother as if we were face to face.

Good on you sir. There is nothing wrong with enjoying games at any age. it's the same idea as someone watching football, watching a movie or reading a book. It's just a form of entertainment. I myself plan to play this game till I'm in my 40's or till I get tired playing league (whatever comes first) and that's just me. There is no reason someone who is 60+ years old can't enjoy playing a video game.

What stereotype? I've seen basically every age group play not only this game but video games in general. Not trying to sound rude but you must live under a rock if you still believe only kids play video games!

over 40 here, and I'm not into that lumosity garbage to keep my mind and reflexes sharp.

A good game of League is wonderful for all that.

besides, I've grown up gaming...nothing will change that.

The thing I miss from the days before consoles, computers and smartphones became our entertainment devices, was when you could stand around in an arcade, either kick ass or have your ass kicked in a game of street fighter & be able to shake your opponent's hand after the match.
