[Yet another unpopular opinion] You may hate dynamic queue, but I'm calling your bluff.
I play mostly solo when I queue for ranked, and here are my observations. Of course, these are personal, from a mid-Gold elo, and may be different for everyone, but here's what I've noticed personally without any favour for or against dynamic queue.

Getting paired with 4-man premades is extremely rare. I've been paired with them maybe 3 times. Yes, somebody will always be with a 4-man, but the chances that it will be you are pretty small, ultimately.
-
Of those few 4-man premades, only 1 was a toxic group. One was neutral (they just let me do my own thing and they did theirs) and one actively welcomed me to the group and wanted the best for me. I even added a couple of the players afterwards.

Getting a mixed group (1-2 per queue vs. 5-man) was also extremely rare. Granted this probably happens much more often than my elo, but with such a huge playerbase in lower elo, it's rarely a problem. I would assume matchmaking trying to avoid this situation could be part of why queues are so long. That's just a guess, though.
My personal opinion is that the boards is taking every worst-case-scenario and making that appear to be normal behaviour, when it's edge case behaviour. I don't think this is an accurate assumption. However, I do understand that yes, these scenarios do happen, and when they do, it sucks.
Toxic people create toxic games all the time. That would apply to any queue.
