Hecarim a little too stong?

For a while i have noticed that every time i played against a enemy hecarim (jungl) , i have lost and vice versa. Every game heca is able to carry his team and even first time heca players do really really well. I find his speed absurd, although it matches his design, but the damage as well on the top is so much that it's like there is no condition which doesn't favor him. Even a warded bot lane is not enough to save your adc if your in the middle of the lane and heca ults into you. I thought lee sin was good at ganking and people moan about how strong he is, but he requires a high skill cap plus he is played much more. Heca doesn't get chosen much (i dont know why) but is very dominant and i have realized this over the time, in many games. Is there even such a thing as a counter to him? I want to know so i can supp well against enemy heca?
