instead of lightning charges maybe gives wearer, or wearer and allies, a small shield. the shield scales like jarvan shield except instead of surrounding enemies its based on number of surrounding allies.

reasoning. On shen i like a bit of as. I get some from runes masteries but i'd like just a tad bit more. I run often on him everything else tank. the extra 25% makes his autos a lot smoother. sure i can get botrk. just thought this was a nice alternative scales with cinderhulk.

or another passive could have something like cannot be chain cced beyond 3 seconds. roots/snares etc can really take a toll on melee attack speed reliant champions this could help. 3 seconds is already a lot of time. could give you a 2 second black shield. Morg's shield is 5 seconds. Or maybe get like an miniature olaf ult if chain cced that lasts 2.5 seconds.
