Well riot said they want to tone down lategame power but give adcs more agency early game. So what will happen is that adcs will get played in every role again because when they are good early they are broken and simply win due to range advantage on top of resourceless cdless sustained dmg.

I wouldn't mind if they decreased spawn times for camps so junglers can stay in jungle instead of being able to camp one lane for 2:30 without losing anything

Funny since veigar got reworked into irrelevance because he was starting to turn up as support in korea because rage cage let him shut down zed/lee sin mobility.

and as everyone knows, there is no greater sin in this game then shutting down mobility plays.

There's no bet to make. They're never going to go through with making ADC not absolutely mandatory. They'll either nerf them so little it won't even matter, try to buff/power shift them while pretending they're nerfs, or buff them at a later date when people start complaining.

If I seem pessimistic about this, it's because I am. I'm not even the slightest bit convinced Riot even has any intention of making ADC not be worth half of the entire team for longer than maybe 4 patches. If they do, I will personally buy 100 dollars in RP from them. Just to show my appreciation.

But they won't.

Maybe 200 gold, and then everyone will be like "OMG, only 200 gold?!?!!".

When they nerfed I.E. by 200 gold 1 year ago: "omg 200 gold, you just broke adcs!"

I think will be more like:

New cheap AS item like zeal for Marksmen to rush in lane, knowing Riot for 6 years, the item will come out broken af and if the enemy ADC get it before yours you lost the lane, and if your ADC don't build it he's trolling and lost you the game. (Ardent Censor 2.0)

ADCs that don't scale with AS or can't use the new item effectively will have a drop of 10% on their winrate, then will be massively buffed in the next patch to be on par with the new item users, then the item will be nerfed and those ADCs that got the compensation buff will be the new S tier meta.

Infinity Edge will be buffed and have it's cost increased.

Essence Reaver will be buffed and has it cost *decreased. Making ADCs that use mana heavily become meta, and adding the icying on the shtcake of salty Mage players that need 3 mana items to stay afloat now.

ADCs will have -5 base AD nerf, but will get a compensation buff of +2 AD per lvl.

They will manage to buff or create an item for another class that give everything an ADC wants, then it will get abused by Marksmen, but instead of slapping a good ol' "Melee Only" on it, they will nerf it to the point that will be considered trolling buying this item on anyone, but, a Marksmen.

It's honestly like gameplay boards has just given up. Can they seriously not find a new circlejerk, or are some people seriously trying to milk the ADC hate for upvotes so hard that they're preemtively bitching that the ADC changes won't be enough.

Its almost like hes thinking "what if the ADC changes are enough, then I won't be able to milk free upvotes from this circlejerk"

Nobody is circle jerking for upvotes. People are done with ADC being the only role able to carry and having more than half of team agency in winning the game. They are done with getting 2 shoted by ranged point and click autos while they as e.g. assassins barely do as much DMG with full combo.

I see a lot of jvfashdhshgvfvgs here who are trying desperately to justify that ADC's are in a balanced state. No they definitely are not, I want to ask them just look at LPL matches IG vs RNG or European Masters (because I watched them I can say for sure) and tell me in which match did the adc in any team build any Armor Penetration/Reduction. Browse through the games and see top, jungler, support are tanks yet not even a single game with a last whisperer. Just tell me how and fkin why is that balanced to you?

You can have an opinion but you need to back that opinion with a fact. Just go through the reddit page and see the items of adc's in those games and you will know the reason why we are so hjbhjdbh complaining about ADC's. And no janna's/lulu/sorakas are in those games, that you can comfortably put the blame on. I am not saying supports are not the issue but usually the ADC's put all the blame on the supports to dodge the bullet. Bot lane overall needs significant nerfs for the game to be balanced and that's the bottomline.

Last I checked nobody ever said they did way too much damage either. Nobody complains about Sivir or Ashe one shotting them at two items.

If you add "balanced ADCs" but do nothing about the ones that give the class a bad name, you basically did nothing.

Because people want marksmen to be held to the same balance standards as other archetypes. The point isn't to make ashe and sivir meta, it is to make all archetypes including champions who aren't marksmen viable in the bot lane carry role.

They already did that (the whole "mages get to bot lane, people flip their shit" thing). Meddler talked about how they made changes that let mages into bot lane, and how it "disrupted bot lane dynamics", so they're pulling back on that to go for something that isn't quite as disruptive.
