What's the stance on Akali? Any plans to address her Yas level ban rate?

So Akali's been out for just over a month and probably had enough time to settle. And based on her ban rate it seems she's settled in the Yasuo pile.

Yasuo, infamous for his ban rate and how frustrating and tilting an experience many find facing him to be, finally has competition in the form of Akali. Her pickrate is generally less than half of that of yasuo yet her ban rate, depending on the site you use is almost on par or in some cases greater than his. Her winrate varies pretty wildly depending on site and elo. Sometimes sub 50%, however in a majority of cases between 60% and 70% in plat+, which are pretty obscene winrates generally only seen on dedicated one trick accounts.

But from my point of view she's blatantly annoying with no enjoyment to be had when facing. But she can easily be fixed without another rework to be a pretty fun assassin to face. And without gutting her like crazy.

Her annoyances are generally similar to those that people find irritating about yasuo:

• Q: Spammable, practically resource less wave clear and sustain. With range to match the AA of most mid range mages.
• W: A controversial tool that you can do nothing about, that gives this champion the ability to seemingly do what ever the hell they want.
• E: A hyper mobility spell
• R: An execution ultimate with little counterplay (a majority of yas ults are E+Q for point and click knock up into R)

Her W and E in my opinion are her biggest balance issues and frustration factors, which if solved would prevent any other changes being needed.

Her W gives her a tool that no one can really do anything about, that is also unparalleled in terms of power. The obvious mistake with this spell was: "causing all sources of True Sight icon true sight (including Towers Destroyed icon turrets) to grant obscured vision instead." With this one line, the spell has zero counterplay. I can't reveal her with spells, it's so vast that it's near impossible to guess where she is, familiars belonging to can't do anything, and one can't reveal her under any circumstances. Because of this, the one limiting factor of her ult is negated due to its duration and it's so big that it can accommodate her passive as well. It's cooldown really isn't that long, it gives her energy instead of costing energy, and so is an easy panic "get out of jail free" card And so Akali is able to freely chill under tower and kill you when ever she pleases, and there's nothing you can do about it.

Remove that one line and this spell becomes balanced. She still gets the energy restore and the movement speed. AND! it has full power as long as she isn't tower diving. So the result would be she's highlighted by wards and sweeper (with that lovely red silhouette, and completely revealed by tower.

The only issue with E, is the infinite recast range. It essentially means I'm not getting away no matter what, if she lands this. Landing her E isn't overly difficult since you can easily force the opposition out of the safety of their minions via Q spam. It's unhealthy in a similar vein to Zoe's E. In that if you get hit you die, because of the guaranteed secondary function. Especially when she uses it against teleports

Throw a range limit on this thing so you can realistically get away and this spell becomes fine. There really isn't much more than you can do to this spell without turning it into trash.
