Why is this toxic zero counterplay champ still in the game?

So many people call a champ 'toxic' with no understanding of their weaknesses...

. Cass has very low mobility, and no escapes (she's quite easy to gank pre-6, and even post-6 if she mispositions) . She's squishy . DPS rather than burst oriented so she can be out-bursted . Low range for a mage (except for her W, but that's not her dmg) . Single target attacks, low AoE dmg in comparison to Veigar Lux AurelionSol Xerath . There are periods in a game where people with boots are faster than her

I acknowledge that her Q gives her movement speed, but that is for aggressive play. Defensively, she doesn't have any movement abilities that can help her escape from something like a gank.

Her passive can be more than matched by anyone with boots, which she isn't allowed to buy.

The cast and delay time for her Q makes it not worth to turn around and try to land it for movement speed.

I'm not saying anything like Cass doesn't have peel (her ult, and in some cases her W can be used). I'm just saying that Cass doesn't have any mobility abilities to escape with (and Ahri is a perfect example of a mage that does).

Sure, people could build all of those semi-defensive items, but I'm saying that her base defensive stats are just like a regular squishy. I think it means something in itself that people see the need to build defensive items on her so often.

It also helps that she gets massive benefits from every single defensive item mentioned, as her E applies a full slow, the q slow is eh ( I don't remember the slow for dots) liandrys also helps with the burn as cassiopea commonly runs dft. and the cdr gotten by those two semi defensive items whilist providing damage and good passives lets her be even more spammy, so she's hella strong, like any other mage.

her only problem and why she gets an uses them is her range.

In what world does Cass have low mobility lmao! She has a huge MS boost and always runs ghost rofl. OH, she's squishy? You mean like EVERY OTHER mid laner apart from Galio? KK m8, great arguement rite thare. Low range? Rofl no. Having high single target DPS is her STRENGTH, that's fallacy to put it in any other way.

TLDR: this guy has no idea what he's talking about. Obvious Cass main.

I agree I should have taken into account the MS on her Q. But like I have said somewhere else, that is purely aggressive. Sure, anyone could run ghost and become speedy, but my point is Cass doesn't have any defensive movement abilities she can use to escape, unlike Ahri Azir Leblanc Ziggs .

Cass is more squishy than the average mage. Although at lvl 1 she might have an average amount of health, at lvl 18 she has significantly less health than most mages.

Cass does have one of the lowest ranges out of all the non-melee mid mages. Her E has 700 range, and none of her other abilities have more than 900 range. Compare this with Xerath , whose abilities ALL have ranges of more than 1000. The only mid mages (non-melee of course) that don't out-range Cass are Annie Vladimir Kayle .

Single-target dmg is obviously a disadvantage compared to AOE. DPS or burst both have their disadvantages; in a fight, obviously the burst should unload their dmg faster, and the DPS will do more over time. That's what I mean when I say that Cass can be out-bursted by her enemies before she does enough damage to kill them.

-Out of mana in laning phase VERY easily. Either push wave hard or let her q e you but you sustain through it (by potions/abilities) and she'll go oom.

the modern mages don't even need a blue like they used to be, they can spam abilities on cd

uhm this champ is really easy to outplay. unless they are smurfing or hacking..and then get a pretty healthy build. even then if ur decent u wouldnt cry about them. get gud.
