i don't have any evidence for this really but its been 5 champions since we gotten a top laner

-azir mage -kalista adc -rek sai jungle -bard support -ekko assassin

the only thing left to be filled in is a bruiser

Rek was played pretty commonly as a top-lane Bruiser.

Most over-tuned Jungle champs end up there, but that's a topic for another day.

On June 6th someone said next champ is a top laner with an interesting river passive.

I just don't see that being wrong with the other info.
