Why are you telling me that, you want me to pity you for not being able to play what you want because "meanies are calling roles and i need to be the saint here"? And my stupid comment was calling out your retarded double standards. I just stated what kind of picture you are giving away from yourself. "Everyone else is wrong, how I play the game is right"

The "meta" is made up. It's a mess of the things that are the most consistent, strongest, strongest in the past 8 patches, found out by the pros, hard mained by a single celebrity, enjoyable to play, theoretically speculated, offspring of pure ignorance of the game's mechanics (which are not a player's mechanics, that should rather be called "technique" like in every other field) and circlejerk-generated beliefs.

Agreed, just because something is off-meta doesn't mean it's bad. I get yelled at sometimes for taking TP Clarity on Karrthus mid, and then people realize that because of that, I have an exponentially stronger presence in lane. On those same lines, I've seen people get called trolls for all of the following, and then proceed to carry their team: AD Malzahar (his voidlings scale off of his AD, so even just putting a manamune on an AP Malzahar actually makes him exponentially more powerful). AP Miss Fortune (Make it Rain scales off of AP, although this worked better before her rework). well since tic tac toe is basically decided on the first move, you might as well screw around. this is a terrible analogy maybe if it was chess but still there are wacky ways to play chess because people like to experiment. If you learn to enjoy all types of games you'll have more fun. woke up this morning to find that i have like 20 something notifications debating over the use of off-meta builds... the funny thing is that this wasn't what i originally wanted to point out, i kind of see where people spun the whole off-build tic-tac-toe analogy from but what i was really trying to say was don't use "this isn't rank" as a excuse for playing poorly, because its not fun for the other people on your team trying to enjoy it.

im not coming out against alt builds by any means. i was merely rebutting the ass hat that pretended like the only rules in league are immutable mechanics

I shouldn't be held hostage though in a normal. I think we all understand that when you que up you're committing to a possible 30-50min game but when someone goes afk and we have that duo who won't ff because "we can still win" then I'm a little agitated. You don't always have to win.

Yeah thats what i meant, you cant expect everyone to be super srs for the winz, some people try out new champs, some people have a bad day, some people get distracted. Its not the same level as 100% ultra focussed teamspeak experienced teamplay so thats the line between 'i play for fun' and 'I MUST WIN OR I WILL SLIT THE THROAT OF A CAT ON CAM' or something.
