For all the people saying that coin gives way more gold than the other lines

If you use spellthiefs often enough (not literal perfection, just a good amount), you can outgold ancient coin. I have done it myself and have seen it done by others.

I actually like vs coin users usually. I can't tell you how many times I've caught people simply because they wanted that 25 gold. Coin is best self bait item imo

To be fair, Spellthief's is kind of conditional. It depends on the champion and how easily they can proc it (although this is much harder because you can't proc it more than once every 1.25 seconds). Not to mention it makes you waste mana and/or put yourself out in the open because you have to land an AA or spell. Whereas, Coin is does it all for you. You get free gold just for existing and walking around with next to no risk.

Coin is more reliable imo
