Is it me or is new Morde really boring?

I know im late to the party but i tried the new morde out and almost fell asleep playing him, probably the simplest kit since Garen. Pull people with E press Q repeat, sometimes press W when you're about to die and R if they are trying to escape.

If they at least kept his old ultimate, i mean going around with a ghost of a dragon was the sickest thing in the game, taking the ghost of an enemy carry and sending him out to kill enemies was at least an interesting mechanic. He looks so cool now it's kinda sad that he's so bland gameplay wise
