Need some advice

So I need some advice here. I can play decently well but there is one class of champions that I just can’t do anything against no matter how hard I try... juggernauts. Illoai Darius Garen just to name a few. I main Jax and most of the time in top I can farm fine and win my lane except against jusggernauts. What happens is I may kill them early and get good farm but then they back and buy black cleaver and I can’t do shit anymore. I try to farm under turret but Darius will pull me out, Garen will scilence then ult me for illoai will grave me with her spirt thing and damage me under turret so it’s hard to farm. When I jg it’s less of a problem until team fights. I just don’t know what to do against these types of champions. Btw Temmo is also in there but he is not a juggernaut so late game it’s easier for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately those champs are rough matchups for jax in lane, however if jax is close to even by lategame his mobility gives him better backline access than those champs and he can delete the enemy squishies better.

I do agree w/ what the other guy said play as them so you get a better idea of the matchups.

I play a lot of jax and against garen you have more chance to outplay than vs the other 2, mainly by waiting for his Q (upswing animation) and using your E to dodge it, which is a large chunk of his burst plus you wont get silenced, then you can AA>W him and Q away.

All in all tho those are all tough matchups for jax and if you can farm up and stay even you will be more useful lategame w/ your splitpush and backline dive (plus better scaling).

So I can understand this for Garen and Darius. Blowing up their back line squishes so my team can focus them down after, but I feel like if I don’t focus illoai she will kill everyone with her ult which is a problem

Yea.. If you have team-mates that dont know to stay out of her threat range (her ult radius is actually really short), then she can basically 1v5. for her your best bet might be buying item 3123 and hoping your team can focus her down which should be do-able if she isn't stupidly fed.
