These balance decisions they make are giving me a stroke, like holy hell its not that hard to see that they are bad. Buffing sej damage for no reason, not touching lux even though she is in almost every game, keeping spear in the game, and giving us bounties for csing. Like wtf are they doing.
Syrile10 votesIt is what I have been saying for months now. Slowly (not so slowly, really?) removing skill from the game. Tactical play, strategy, actual skill beyond twitch-reflexes, are being removed to bring in players that will play for a few months and BM like crazy when they get a kill on an overloaded, overpowered champion that once required skill to play. That is the goal of these changes. Unfortunately, this is a trend with games as they go into phase right before they start losing massive amounts of players.

I still love playing this game and have looked past op champs as I'm able to, but yeah it's a shame, they're going to apparently have their grand finale of player counts before those players just move on to other games. "Oh, that was neat" would be the average 3-month player activity.
LegacyDAP6 votesI don't really mind these random buffs, what I do mind is Riot just not addressing the actual problem. Runes increase damage by too much, items increase damage by too much, certain champions are strictly better than others, so much that 70% of the champion pool isn't worth playing over the others.
This game has loads of problems, it's unfortunate that Riot doesn't seem to care about them.

brings a tear to my eye. I was a jungler; I remember season 3, 4, 5 I could play basically any champ (who could at least somewhat reliably clear). up through high plat and make it work. I get bored so i play lots of different things, i could use

I left out some champs that didn't exist at the time, and some of these have been reworked since then. BUT i COULD play any of these champs, and while some were admittedly weak/hard to be effective on, I could actually use these and not feel like im totally handicapping myself in competitive games.
Now it's like if i play , goddam will outpace me, outgank me, outsustain me, just flat out outdo me in every way while requiring an equal amount of skill (i.e., point and click kit with aoe ult).
was still viable for a while, he kinda still is but it's not worth it. Especially with the gutting of XP, he clears too slowly, and is easily invaded and 1 combod by hmm, basically any of the 5 or so meta junglers.

AetherArising1 votesTbh, i think that and are a more annoying top 5 than kayn, kindred, and kha. Khaz is strong af but at least requires thinking at all.
Kayn is my fav now that vi isnt fun (shes stronger technically, but i miss bursty assassin-bruiser vi, not slow dps “off-tanky” (lul barely even that) vi) so i have a bias but aside from a kayn getting 15/0 off side lanes and going red and still bursting me as fast as blue form with just W, i often find him to be acceptable to fight.
Kindred is a bitch but can be handled if you stay on top of camp marks.
Reks is a hoe tho i agree, needs nerfs bad.
