Wasn't there a limit on ranked players a while back? 1 Full tier maximum? (E.G. Bronze 5 could play with Silver 1 at max) Is this no longer in effect? If so, why the hell not? Has dynamic queue screwed this up that bad?
Of course we had no real way to win that game because poppy had to be babysat and bottom lost hard.
Igotlazy1 votesThe "1 Full Tier" thing is for people queuing up together as pre-mades. A Silver cannot go into Ranked with a Platinum for example.

if they have matching mmr, doesn't matter about rank. if a bronze 5 player somehow had diamond 1 mmr, they would be playing with diamond 1 players.

well, it was likely eve and poppy together yes. poppy had a chance to still win lane, was just too hard for them that game.
