...But Cait has 2 skillshots, a blockable ultimate with a very clear path, and a trap her opponent pretty much has to walk into. And Jhin has a skillshot, a pseudo-randomly bouncing ability, a skillshot ultimate, and a trap that only an idiot or someone CC'd with a greater than 60% slow (generally requiring him to land his W - a skillshot - on them) will ever be hit by.
Draven has a very long-range skillshot on his ultimate, MF and Vayne have to pay attention to angles (which isn't mindless, although it's easier to aim than a true skillshot). Quinn also has a skillshot (albeit an easy to land one).
And don't give me that bullshit about them not using abilities. We both know that's absolutely, 100% false. They'd lose 95% of the time if they didn't use their aimed abilities (MF's entire thing being around dominating lane through her Q's insane bounce damage, Vayne's entire thing being built around her Q survivability, Jhin only being viable by weaving abilities between autos...)

I think the damage should divide among the number of targets.
deals 75-750 magic damage on hit to up to 5 targets, divided evenly among the number of targets hit (increasing the base damage, but balancing it by dividing the enhanced damage among number of targets).
It even makes sense thematically:
If one person grabs an electric fence they catch the brunt of the shock. If five people hold hands and one of them grabs an electric fence, they distribute the brunt of the shock evenly.
Plus on the Gameplay side: it's an OP turn around move: completely clearing a minion wave and smacking you with damage all with one Right Click.

And if, in your silly imagination, this concept of Static Shiv is "OP" then it makes sense that this "lonely" target would also have a Shiv. If it's not the other ADC- then you're playing games with noobs. Status Quo is a simple construct. Junglers shouldn't solo gank. Mid shouldn't roam. Top should be farming Q. Okay that's just Nasus- but you get the point. Support shouldn't be in such a position to begin with.

ADCs can do that. Unsealed spellbook sivir can do that and even more easily with a support backing her up in cases when it's needed. One of these actually saw proplay as well.

E flash on a late game trist lvl 16-18 doesn't even cover her auto attack range. Plus buster shot while you flash to insta pop you back and rocket jump you literally are dead in the water. That's not even counting if she has flash. I play riven. Alot. The adc's you never try to flash on because it's pointless are good trists and good vaynes because their mobility and self peel are too strong.
