Its a little bit annoying having to type my 20 letter password only to have it fail and then have to re-open the client and type it again. I know, I know... First world problems XD

I don't understand why people down vote you, I've seen rioters comment several times about trying to fix it ASAP, and I see about 10 threads of this same topic everytime i refress the forums.

I agree, Riot knows about the issue, there's no sense in adding to the fray of threads about the same problem.

Not only do my log in attempts fail most often on first attempt but the Chat Client never connects and takes two or three attempts to get into as well. Once in a while or even ongoing for a day or two would be acceptable for bugs like this but this is at least a week or more now. Add in bad lag on NA servers lately and it makes you wonder why any of us are actually paying for this service.

Well the problem is pretty obvious, for some reason connection to the server fails on the first log in attempt. It only started happening since last patch so they have 1 patch to look through to find the problem, doesn't seem that hard.

It's not occurring on PBE, so I can't imagine it should be a difficult issue to fix. Their response time to this issue has been ridiculous. I generally don't have beefs with Riot, but this has been known for quite a long time.

People are getting unhappy because of this bug, do you really think Riot is just twiddling their thumbs and counting their cash? No, they're working on it. I bet there are 2+ engineers trying to fix the problem as we speak.

What I'm implying is that the code for the PBE should be an easy implant into the code for the live servers. The issue isn't occurring there, so obviously there is a Live patch only client error. Shouldn't be too hard to compare the two sets of code and spot the error. I don't speak of things I don't know, I code extensively in C++ and JavaScript. The issue isn't a big deal, which may explain the slowness of the resolution. However, it should not be a difficult thing to fix. It allows us to log in upon second try, so there should not to multiple lines that need resolving - just some small error with regards to connection to the server upon initial startup.

Yes, they've acknowledged it, multiple times.
And I've got that alert many times, he selected the wrong board. They aren't deleting them because they're complaining about a bug, they're deleting posts like that one who didn't place it in the correct sub-section.

Dank Doggo3 votesType the wrong password in the first time then after the error for wrong password type the correct one. This isn't a fix but it should stop you from having to reopen the client every time.

I figured this was some wrong setting on my computer and I'd have to mess with some settings or something, but I guess I'm not the only one on the struggle bus. Undo whatever you did, Riot.
