How was it worded in the Shyvanna patchnotes? When a little bit of change can go really far? Well, in this case just move the W to his passive, maybe even scrap his old passive, and give him an new active W.

Attack speed steroids are never something that feels actually impactful or useful. by the time you get a kill in the teamfight as varus that usually means you have landed your ult and you have won the fight anyways. If you proc it by sniping someone far away, it will probably fade out by the time you have moved your immobile ass towards the next target.
