I feel like....
is my tier list of "support"/commonly picked up by supports items
but its open for debate
Note that these are just a few of the items and don't account for champs like 
or CRIT 
So what do you all think?
Kai Guy1 votesZonyas seems a bit high given its cost and low team utility. Mejais and dark seal Mia makes me sad. I would move zekes vow and redemption up and lower the t3 coin line as I dont think the 4th ward and Hp gains are that significant.

zhonyas is just argueably one of the strongest actives in the game being stasis, its sad but because most supports are ap and can therefore benefit from cdr+ap with a strong active I felt it was basically top tier unless your playing a tank
Dark seal is really meh on support especially if you arent ahead and getting kills because its other effect can be achieved with the potion rune Zeke's is lower because it relies on coordination between adc and support and often in blinds isnt very effective being that it doesn't add health Redemption is high up because it has good impact on team fights even if you aren't directly in the middle of them, adds health, and can get cheeky kills. it can also be built with no real impact on piece of mind lost for most tank supports considering it adds more health for Locket and it gives them a way to heal their team

I wasn't suggesting that zhonyas helps your team but it helps most supports more
and isnt as good against 
just isnt as useful as it was when it was in a support item because it takes up a slot you could get something more useful like or
and are both very niche because though has some nice assets its rarely if ever a PICK OR THROW item on anyone, whereas IS AMAZING on engage champs and slow tanks its has a huge gap in price between its build items and final form making its value come much later in a game climate that has been shifting to earlier fights
And well I think we both agree and are niche and/or situational for most supports so nothing to be said here really
Keiaga1 votesZhonyas cant be a good support item when it only helps the support instead of allowing the support to better help its team. Its at the same level as rabadons and ludens as far as "support" items go.
is a great item for supports that initiate. A potential teamwide slow is valuable for a team fight. You cant really say ita bad because ita not AS useful against ONE character.
is great for helping initiating and chasing down targets. Its an undodgeable, practically global slow against 2 targets. Bring glacial augment and it might as well be a root.
CaptainAntiHeroz1 votesI don't like twin shadows at all, the ghosts aren't reliable and sometimes focus the same person or don't get there in a reasonable amount of time, and its literally only ever considered by me on a glacial build which is like never because I have have better options. Randuins is alright sure, but I would definitely value a support surviving an enemy assassin trying to burst them to contribute to a fight than see that a support is "attempting to slow down someone on the enemy team" But thats just bias based of how broken Stasis is
