I want to see Kindred VS Morde. Or Pantheon VS Aatrox. So we all can't get what we want.
The Versus events not only have to feature characters that are rivals in the lore. They have to be lane opponents so you can actually meaningfully compete with them over the course of a game. The vast majority of players are ignorant of the lore so laning against the versus skin and seeing which mains are more competent at their champ is the main draw.

Because Lucian's "victory" isn't really a defeat for Thresh. Lucian is still sad about Senna being cursed, Senna is still cursed, Thresh is alive still torturing souls and can kill Senna/Lucian if they make a single mistake.
A lot of victories in lore would involve champions dying.

was allowed to happen in lore because Aatrox doesn't really ever die and Pantheon died but Atreus lives.
I feel as if the Evelynn vs Vayne stuff should be the 'Endgame' of their story. Let riot chunk some lore into each champion a bit more before the showdown.

Since they were talking about these 2 new champs coming up in summer and how they are both connected to some kind of big event, I thought that I would enjoy a double champion release with champions symbolising polar opposite ideals.

Both are pretty dated, their animations are kinda ugh, but have such cool kits and can really use a Legendary skin, Viktor's can change with every upgrade for example, while Jayce Idk, just give them some love
