I want to see Kindred VS Morde. Or Pantheon VS Aatrox. So we all can't get what we want.

Kindred doesn't have an in-lore rivarly with morde afaik, it's just sort of a distinction of morde evades kindred, as a lot of champs do. Sion, Karthus, other Shadow Isles etc.

Pantheon and Aatrox have already had their rivalry in-lore

Thinking about it, especially the rat would be a great candidate for a canon lore VS event!

Twitch still didn't get his lore updated, we deserve some more information about him. There is also still the fact that Zac has been listed as a related champion for Twitch, but we still didn't read anything about them interacting.

A VS event would be a great opportunity to built up this rivalry (which it definitely should be, Twitch is trying to end humanity with his poison and Zac tries to do the right thing by protecting the weak, so Twitch should be the main villain in Zac's hero saga).

We could get a teaser of Twitch trying to cause mayhem in Zaun by placing some poison bombs, Zac in some way has found out about his plan and wants to stop him, so he has to find the place Twitch has prepared the poison and purify it with his powers (if he can heal with his slime, he surely also can absorb and digest poison without harm).

The VS event could either let us decide the outcome of Twitch' poison attack (will people in Zaun die in that tragedy or will Zac be able to save everyone?), or they could plan the end of this story beforehands, but we get to witness how the story ends from the point of view of the winner?

yeah but on the one hand only people who either a really like piltover and zaun like your or B really like those champs would want that

Like twitch is disgusting and annoying and Zac despite being hilarious is unpopular

Meanwhile Caitlyn Jinx and Evelynn Vayne have a bit more popularity and pre-establised lore that deserves progress more than the random introduction of a Twitch rivalry

I know this might be a stretch, but I felt as though other than the VGU and gameplay update they didn't get a lot of love... so maybe a Kayle VS Morgana event? Morgana could use a legendary skin and they both have a very cool background. It's because of those two that Demacia is the way it is. (Kayle shunning her mage of a sister and Morgana going into hiding)

The thing is with Kindred is that Kindred will likely fight Morde or the Ruined King. The story All Kindred Eve could lead to some crazy stuff related to them. So I would love to see Kindred VS either the Ruined King or Morde.

Yasuo is a mid laner primarily and Riven is a top laner sooooo they can do what they want cuz its their game

Yassuo top and riven mid are things. they show up. i remember that yassuo top was really popular around the time of the first VS event. though its been a while, so i might be misremembering things

Vayne jungle has an abysmally low playrate. Not even in the top 50. Yassuo does manage to get into the top 50 of top, if just barely. Vayne is just too squishy for jungle. sure, if she was tankier, she might be decent because of condemn, but right now? its borderline trolling.

The Versus events not only have to feature characters that are rivals in the lore. They have to be lane opponents so you can actually meaningfully compete with them over the course of a game. The vast majority of players are ignorant of the lore so laning against the versus skin and seeing which mains are more competent at their champ is the main draw.

Viktor vs Jayce or Azir vs Xerath should be next.

.... but lets be real Xerath ain't gettin a legendary skin.

The problem with Xerath is you can't really be all that creative when he's just plasma... I wanna see that plasma stabilize into something more supercharged and more humanoid.

Because Lucian's "victory" isn't really a defeat for Thresh. Lucian is still sad about Senna being cursed, Senna is still cursed, Thresh is alive still torturing souls and can kill Senna/Lucian if they make a single mistake.

A lot of victories in lore would involve champions dying.

Aatrox vs was allowed to happen in lore because Aatrox doesn't really ever die and Pantheon died but Atreus lives.

Nobodies gotta die, we just need to see the too meet again (with Vayne being an adult now), maybe Eve says something that sends Vayne off on some hunt for something, maybe Vayne gets even more dark inside, but some kind of confrontation (preferably in cinematic form) would be nice especially since pretty sure with the ruined king coming (allegedly he'll be a champion coming out the same time as his game) Senna's story will likely already be moving forward

I feel as if the Evelynn vs Vayne stuff should be the 'Endgame' of their story. Let riot chunk some lore into each champion a bit more before the showdown.

That's what people said about Riven and Yasuo to be fair, but they completely resolved their arc with the comic series.

Evelynn and Vayne still have strong core themes to expand when they do resolve their stories.

But that's because it's an actual misunderstanding. Riven didn't mean to kill the elder (assuming it's the same one from Yasuo's story, I still haven't brushed up on it), and if it's a different elder then they're not related. Whereas Eve directly did kill Vayne's parents and won't stop, she's a demon.

That distinction doesn't really mean anything. Conflict resolution or continuation can happen in multiple ways. There isn't a SINGLE avenue that the plot can be taken.

It means a lot actually. The whole mystery used to be "who killed Yasuo's master?" and the big theory was Riven because it was a wind technique and her ult is called Wind Slash, but Riot back then corrected this as "it's not wind magic, it's just called wind slash". Riot took it as canon and gave it a great twist. It could have ended with her killing him during the invasion, but instead of was just an accident.

Unless you're talking about the Eve Vayne part because if it doesn't end with Eve dying then it's not really like Yasuo and Riven.

My working theory is that they have a confrontation and eve pulls a joker, and by the end Vayne's left questioning herself as Evelynn escapes to continue enjoying Vayne's torment from the shadows

Both are pretty dated, their animations are kinda ugh, but have such cool kits and can really use a Legendary skin, Viktor's can change with every upgrade for example, while Jayce Idk, just give them some love
