Why is classic the only promoted mode?

Heck, not even that, its just classic+Summoner rift

What about the other classic maps?

What about Dominion?

What about ARAM?

Why some modes get removed (Doom bots)?

Why this game only promotes a single PVP mode in a single map?

I'm sorry to say this. I will get hate for this. But league of legends IS summoners rift. Dominion Aram Twisted treeline

These are mini games such as one for all. They will not be balanced for as much as summoners rift and will rarely get promoted. Riot has been pretty open about not wanting to split the player base among multiple modes.

They don't want to be like halo, cod, or cs:go. They want to be like basketball, football, hockey, and such.

League of Legends, the game, is not Summoner's Rift. League of Legends, the major esport, is Summoner's Rift.

The problem isn't that alternate maps aren't balanced for as much as SR and rarely promoted; the problem is that alternate maps are barely balanced for and almost never promoted. Despite being permanent maps alongside SR, alternate maps get nearly no developer support. The last systems update either map got was during 5.13 back in July; the last champion balance change was in 4.15 from August 2014. The only promotion any of the alternate maps has gotten in years was the Bilgewater skin for ARAM. Various League features (e.g. minion projectile clarity, Champion Mastery, brush animations, minion skins) are missing or were tremendously delayed for alternate maps.

Promoting SR as an esport is fine. Positioning SR similar to traditional sports is fine. Pretending that parts of the game itself simply don't exist is not fine.

Would you rather they turn them off like one for all and urf?

And see the League community's response to Riot outright breaking promises and removing content? Maybe.

At the very least, removing them would make it abundantly clear that Riot doesn't consider alternate maps players as League players.

Because Riot likes self-fulfilling prophecies.

Years ago, Riot thought SR would be the most popular game mode, so they devoted just about all their resources towards SR. Since all the other game modes received nearly zero developer support, the League playerbase favored SR.

Nowadays, the vicious cycle continues. Riot doesn't support alternate maps, so the playerbase doesn't play alternate maps, so Riot doesn't support alternate maps. Riot's aware of this issue, so they've stopped releasing permanent game modes. Featured Modes work well for Riot because their temporary nature means Riot doesn't need to contribute support.

They relaunched TT gave it massive gameplay, design, and visual changes with elise launch event being tier to it, which gained some popularity for maybe 3 months then it decayed back into like it was before, riot tried and its shown if even they put serious effort other modes just won't be popular long term, and riot has accepted that.

Because there was no follow-up. The first champion balance change didn't happen until nine months after the TT update. SR got 13 patches in that same timeframe. Throwing up major changes like map reworks will help short-term, but consistent attention is needed for the long-term.

The SR community complains that Thunderlord's meta is stale, and that's only been around for a month or two. Meanwhile alternate maps are expected to be fine with one patch a year? Consider how popular SR would be if the situation was reversed.

We have 2 classic maps to date(classic is a game mode that differs from aram and dominion).

Riot has limited resources. If they kept every limited time game mode, they would need to upkeep them every single patch. Not even mentioning the phenomenon called 'domination'. Since the release of dominion game mode, fewer and fewer players are actually playing it..

Summoner's Rift is literally the best map in moba games (every moba has one). Riot has to choose for which one (sr or twisted treeline) they are building the competitive scene - and balance.
