I feel like in many match ups there is no finishing him off because of his range / kiting / safety. You also need to be weary attempting to because if the fight turns around there is no escaping.
This means it tends to be a short exchange / attrition war which is cool. But then every now and again BOOM have a substantial part of your hp bar back for free.

You have to allot your level 1 ability point to teach the fucker how to breath or else he ends up suiciding. He is so bad that he earned the nickname "Gnarbage" for how foul his corpses smell after feeding the enemy team 36 kills per game. And those are players who actually know how to use him. Riot needs to seriously reconsider the creation of such a useless champion. Delete Gnarbage and head back to the drawing board Riot. He is a useless champion who is the only champion in game who can lose a lane where the opponent has DCed. That's bad Riot. Remove him and cut your loses.

Deus Imperator1 votesThis is what i play top, and no matter what i do, i always get matched against a rank 5 mastery gnar, they hit me from range, if i try to go him he hops away, if i try chasing he will poke with the 2 sec CD boomerang (yes its about 1-2 Seconds CD once he gets black cleaver and CD boots)
