Playing jungle well no longer feels rewarding in the majority of games
This role has low impact this season if more than one of your lanes is in a bad match up or not performing well.
I'm often finding myself in scenarios where I dominate the early game, but 2-3 of my lanes are outmatched and cannot stay afloat without my intervention. These games feel horrible from start to finish, because I need to be in multiple places at once, and I have to consciously decide which enemy champions I want to allow to get fed. This is fucked up and should not happen as often as it does.
Hyper scaling carries are also a major problem; even if they aren't playing well, I need to camp their lanes to stop them from scaling, often being forced to choose between dragons or letting a Nasus AFK farm because my top lane cannot 1v1 him. The same applies to Fiora, Jax, etc. Which means I'm giving up objective control and unable to focus my attention to one of my losing lanes.
There are so many games where I'm chain ganking 24/7 and controlling all objectives while the enemy jungle literally does nothing and still wins, because I can't be in every lane that needs help at the same time. It's reaching the point where I feel like I have to play a solo lane, because I'd rather have a potentially bad team mate in the jungle than in a solo lane.
Playing this role feels terrible and is and extremely unrewarding.
See my match history as an example of this. My normal games are with Diamond+ players. I have a 12 game win streak in normals with Udyr, around 80% overall, because both teams are often evenly matched and playing well actually tips the game. My ranked games placed me in Gold, where I'm barely holding a 50% win rate, because lanes are rarely evenly matched.
