Literally the last thing I want is some 14 Year old dork from the suburbs yelling the n word at me while shitty rock music blares through his Cheap ass laptop mic. I did x box live for a month and got enough open voice chat for a lifetime

You sound like a delight to play with.

God forbid that I cannot hear your well thought comments right through my headphones.

Haha that's what I thought.

Onto the voicechat thing, I think it could work, only if there's muting/refusing option for other players as well.

voice chat will never be included because it would also subsequently need to be regulated/monitored by riot to keep the game T rated.

otherwise it becomes Xbox live with all the raging children.

voice chat by league is for the ideal world. shame we have to make due with what we have.

Never really thought of it that way. They really would have a problem of "Online content not rated" when there game is entirely online.

As for OP, I'm pretty sure that Sexism was never the issue. (at least not the main issue.)

Online not rated by esbr...... further its called self regulation....telling someone to fuck off if they pick on a teammate is a lot more effective in voice chat in those words or others

All I can think of is Xboxlive.

Screw that nonsense.

Eh, there's a reason why Blizzard's in game voice chat died quickly for WoW. It's not worth reinventing the wheel for your game as people who want to voice chat have many efficient and existing options. Designating resources towards its implementation doesn't make sense really. They have other things to work on I'm guessing.

If you think this is so important, let me ask you something.

Do you use the options available to you now to voice chat with your teammates? As in, do you have third-party voice chat applications installed on your computer and do you post a link to your chat session in the pre-game lobby?

Because if you don't, you're a hypocrite.

THE AVERAGE PLAYER IS IN THERE MID 20'S ITS NOT XBOX LIVE LOOOOOL

Very Hard Engage1 votes

you're sorely mistaken on that one. if you think they are in their mid 20's, why are peak hours between 3pm~8pm when the average college student is normally waking up and going to class.

the average player comes home from high school, logs on to league, and plays ranked in bronze~silver, with or without friends.

the majority of the upper leagues are college students for sure. who play all day on their off days. but BUT you have to consider the raw size of the lower divisions compared to the upper divisions. (on a logarithmic scale)

You have made one compelling argument there. I was never subjected to blaring music and childish insults by people my own age when the whole curse voice thing was a big deal.

Sarcasm.
