Current stats say shes usable.... not op not great and definetly not well rounded as a champ

Along comes the rework train.

Twin Disciplines (Passive) - [reworked into a two hit passive]: Now gives Akali's next two attacks bonus effects (base values scale with lvl) then goes on cooldown. First strike restores 10-130 (+70% bonus AD) health. Her second strike (within 4 seconds) deals 14-70 (+45% AP) magic damage. Cooldow for empowered attacks is 8-5 seconds based on level.

Twilight Shroud (W): Now teleports Akali to cast location and leaves a shroud where she was before. Range = 250 Cast time increased to .35 from .25 Duration changed to 4/5/6/7/8 seconds from 8 seconds at all ranks

Crescent Slash (E): Cooldown changed to 5/4.5/4/3.5/3 from 5/4/3/2/1 Damage changed: NEW: [70/100/130/160/190 (50% AP)(70% Bonus AD)] OLD: [30/55/80/105/130 (40% AP)(60% total AD)

Shadow Dash (R): Damage changed to 50/100/150 (+25% AP) from 100/175/200 (+50% AP) Cooldown changed to 2 second at all ranks and is no longer affected by CDR from 2/1.5/1.

In summary at all stages of the game post 6 she lost

-Her spellvamp which kept her topped off without cooldown and allowed her AP build to have resistances

-AT A BARE MINIMUM 150 plus 25% ap AS WELL AS ALL PRIOR PASSIVE AUTO ATTACK DAMAGE BENIFETS so up to 500-600 damage late game in a full combo with 3 auto attacks

-her ad scaling PASSIVE DAMAGE which means she no longer builds ANY ATTACK DAMAGE FOR OPTIMAL DAMAGE and no longer has ANY BONUS DAMAGE ON TOWERS

At level 11 and 16 she lost her ability to dash repeatedly and at levels 3-8, 14-18 she lost damage on her E if you incorperate her base attack damage.

What she gained -pink wards no longer reveal akali -she can hop very small walls with w -tank builds that favor alot of item damage cdr and resistances are now mandatory because she lost so much scaling. And is better off disrupting than carrying/assasinating

In summary she lost -gunblade build or any attack damage whatsoever

-burst damage

-tower damage

-sustained damage

-late game resistance scaling. Now she favors health and ap

This champs is gonna hit live with a 37% winrate as is. Lets get some much needed attention for Akali.

Akali should have never been a drain tank, considering she's an assassin. Besides, you act surprised her spell vamp is gone, considering that they basically stripped it from the game in the MYMU. All this did was push her AWAY from building tank gear, which has been an objective Riot has been aiming for for Assassins to be killable, as they should be.

You say that with the current stats shes unusable, but yet with 125+ games you have a 56.6% winrate, which on any champ is considered too strong. I think the problem that they were addressing was the tank itemization and the ridiculous amount of health she could get from her passive. imo her passive was her biggest problem, but it did give her identity, but the other changes were not good as it reduced her damage from spells and didn't really resolve it anywhere else

PBE and actualy Live are two different areas, You can test all day but if you don't actually play against other people for real what's the point of bringing recycled information here. -.-

100000+ People are NOT even going to read the patches and play characters and feed, meanwhile the lucky few who did do the homework will already have new builds on stand by to go ahead and cheese up the ranks before people learn some counter play...it's that simple.

Her new passive scales the on hit heal from ad, and her waveclear spell e scales its damage up from ad as well. The minor amount of ad you get from gunblade will not go to waste as before its completed it will be nicely powering up your passive heal on the cutless side until it completes and you get omnivamp so that you can heal up from all your spells and procs including passive and e. The active on gunblade is also nice on a champ that needs to stick, especially with a 2 second hard cd on dashes.

Not being revealed by pinks means that akali can get away with building squishier because her 'defensive steroid (the shroud) is more reliable'. The ability to hop small walls and play more juking mindgames with the shroud than before is also an incentive to build glassier since there isn't as much concern about being caught out alone and blown up instantly before. You use to need to burn shroud and ult both to hope to jump to a jungle camp that might not be there if you wanted to escape, now you can just use shroud and not rely on a camp that might not be there.

Burst is down from ult because you are now intended to take full advantage of the stealth and get 2 rotations or more off in a teamfight in order to finish a target, in line with the new goal for assassins for them to be able to do their job without instantly bursting people.

Akali... not OP? What fantasy world are you living in? She has zero counterplay (even less now that pinks don't reveal her), no counterbuild, and you literally cannot win unless you're a hypertank with 6000 health or just CC lock her for all of time.

She needed major nerfs, and now she's getting her bullshit sustain lowered and her kit is becoming less of "watch me mash buttons and automatically win since no one can beat me in damage and sustain"
