What we do need is something like LolReplay and a way to put specific games on display on our profile so we can use this like a resume. We need ways to better recruit teammates.
We also need to more than double the amount of exp needed to max out exp rank on a champion.
we need some sort of way to shop for teammates or teams.
and last but not least the least popular role at any given moment should give bonus LP and/or IP

But yes to be brutally honest a higher barrier of entry would be great, though it wouldnt necessarily have to be something that is the only way to join.
Also if you want to do your janky bullshit you should do that with your friends anyways not strangers. Especially in ranked when nobody understands why the hell you keep letting yourself die.
