Can we all agree the community has no say?

Okay, Riot, this time, don't go "we give no fucks" when people tell you their opinions on Ahri nerfs

Inspired by previous OP, Yousosmart.

So i've been watching the forums since i've gotten back from family holiday/tradition and i've noticed an extreme amount of anger towards the unjust nerfs that people are still whining about, which nothing is wrong with at all. The same champions are running rampid while the underplayed and seemingly balanced champions are receiving nerfs and buffs. So, is it safe to agree we as a community have no say in league of legends?

The exceptions include Lee and Thresh. Because these two champions seem to uh . . . their special.

EDIT

This includes the new jungle filled with massive amounts of suggestions while Riot does the exact opposite of these suggestions and even making patches that work against what the community thinks, we stated the jungle was getting too hard for specific champions via patch 5.2 made it even harder.

Riot listens to what the community has to say. BUT! And I stress this. At the end of the day, they HAVE to do what they believe is best for the game and company as a whole.

The community does ask for some pretty retarded shit sometimes so you gotta realize how much bullshit they have to swim through until they can even remember a single good thing one of these dumbasses has to say on forums.

What about the forum posts that had 200-400 upvotes previous of the patches, that Riot even stated they noticed but would follow through with the changes even if they realized a vast community was angry with the changes? You see posts with like 400+ upvotes that provide nothing that actually provides a change, it really makes you wonder as for why we even post on the forums. If we didn't post on the forums i feel as though nothing would change.

Does it matter? Paying doesn't give us a right to shape the game, and we don't even pay!

That may be true however if not for the community League of Legends would not be a game unless if the company enjoys spending monthly dosh on a game nobody plays because there is no community. Now, i don't like you assuming things either considering i have paid my fair share for the game to advance into 'better' things, well over 60 USD.

I didn't assume you haven't paid anything for skins or whatnot, you aren't paying for the service itself. There is no "fair share", you paid what you felt like paying and no amount gives you more of a say in the game than an unranked level 1 with nothing paid.

However with this logic forums should not exist nor should community input, just because we allow the game to exist does not mean that we should have a say as for how the game should be made for us. Without the people who actually enjoy the cake, nobody is going to actually eat it and sooner or later it will get old, rotten and disgusting considering some guy is cooking another cake with good social skills. If you know what i mean anyways :P

-Not that i am saying League would not exist at all without the players, which is true in my eyes but it would not be what it is today without the communities input-

How does "giving Riot money does not mean you have influence over the game" equate to "people aren't allowed to speak their mind"?

It doesn't. You're going way off tangent to make yourself correct in your own mind.
