Alright actually since we're here I have a better change for Sion's passive

As seen here Sion's passive got dumped on pretty hard last patch whether by mistake or cosmic radiation, but regardless I have a better idea than a simple revert

% damage: 10% -> 5% increasing by 5% for each subsequent hit

If he sticks to you successfully you get hammered, but he is less bursty with a single punch

Health loss: 2+1.4/level per tick -> 1+0.6/level per tick

The point of this passive is to zone the enemy after your death, it should last longer than 3 seconds

Debatable idea Activation delay -> Instant stand from death

Usually after you go down your enemy is already out of range by the time you stand up, and using your speed boost you're lucky to get 1-2 hits in However this might make him too dangerous, especially with the other buffs, so I'm not 100% on board

Thoughts, opinions, telling me his passive is better now without reading any of the math because flat < %, go

He could use some kind of slow reduction too, or maybe tenacity. His passive only works if he can actually hit things.

Using CC on him is CC not going to his teammates. In a 1v1 situation, you just run away, but in a teamfight you either stick around taking damage or get zoned. CC'ing him might save you but now you can't CC other enemies for kills. Slow reduction would be nice, does the speed boost break slows? Maybe it should, rewarding proper use.

Yes that's generally the idea

Right now he just dies insanely fast and only gets off 1-2 autoattacks

In solo queue I grab item 3025 and a item 3267

I can often either grab a double/triple kill before going down, or freak the enemy team out so much that they blow their cc on me and allow my team the easy clean up.

If you're dying anywhere other than the very center of teamfights, you're not playing Sion right.

I agree his death animation takes way too long, considering his passive is dependent on it.

I really only get kills in my passive when people forget I even have it, or if we're winning the fight anyway and they're CC'd

A duration increase might solve the issue though

Or have his ability (the movespeed increase) last a shorter time, but make him immune to slows.

Right now he's the undead bulletsponge, not the undead juggernaut. His ult is immune to CC, but his passive (which really fits the 'undead juggernaut' idea) is vulnerable to every CC in the game and is kiteable as hell.

He doesn't get enough out of his passive for how fast he dies and how easy he is to kite. Give him a longer uptime or some way to negate being kited.

We got to remember, this is still a passive. It's like if we allowed zyra to continuously fire true damage spikes until she died because she couldn't secure a kill with the one. I'm just saying this sounds extremely impactful and it's not even an ability. At most it should just be used to secure a kill not completely change a teamfight. All he really needs are some changes to his health lost and maybe some form of tenacity.

Also a fair point

Don't necessarily need all of these ideas, just something to compensate for them suplexing his passive into a dumpster last patch

Or they could just lessen the time it takes him to revive. When Morde with 0 boots can walk far away from Sion before he revives, then there is something wrong.

Yes making it instant was one of the ideas I had

no idea how they'd change the animation but w/e

I like the first change, don't like the second one at all. That would make him way too strong. I think he should instantly be activated after dying though, kind of like Tryn rage.

Fair enough

I kind of threw out a number to start with since calculating health loss is confusing

Though with the instant revive I'd at least like his release health loss back
