Do we really need to dumpster yet another juggernaut item because an ADC is abusing it? It really baffles me how out of touch you guys are with your game, with the triple ADC meta going on in the asian scene and our own double AP/double ADC meta going on here. If you haven't noticed, Malphite RekSai Alistar are the only tanks actually being played, while Gangplank MasterYi Fiora are the only melees currently abusing the "juggernaut" itemization.

Can we nerf the shit out of your 57% win rate ADC and 95% ban rate pirate before dumpstering another item? Losing 100 HP on item 3071 was painful enough, now my entire Darius build is going to be down 200 HP?

I've already been barely playing this game due to the atrocious Dynamic Queue you forced on everyone, this is pushing it.

Edit: To clarify, this is a problem with ADCs in general building item 3053 as a defensive item, but Graves is the worst offender of the lot. Not only that but a 100 HP nerf to Steraks will keep it just as effective for carries while making it shit for bruisers, because carries don't have resists to back up the HP while bruisers do.

Think of it like this: MissFortune has 30 armor post penetration Darius has 150 armor post penetration

100 less HP on the item means MissFortune has 130 less effective HP against physical damage, while Darius 250 less effective HP against physical damage

If the item needs to be nerfed that badly then fair enough, just don't ruin it for its intended class like you tried to with item 3071

They should just make Sterak's a melee only item.

Then ADCs can't abuse it. It's not like their are any ranged champions who would want to use it, besides maybe Gnar, and they could make a special case for him.

If it's any consolation, Graves already took a fairly big hit on live. GP has changes next patch.

This wasn't a reaction to Graves only. Sterak's has been picking up popularity on a lot of champions. Heck, I think we saw it on champs like Kennen Kalista and Sivir dating back to Worlds. Since then, adoption has continued to rise. The use of the item by roles it's not intended for is a pretty good signal that it's too strong.

Well, you have to take in account what other people are buying, not those that exist in EUW and NA.

ADCs in Korea (especially against an Assassin comp) are now building Sterak's Gage because it is such a good item to counter Assassins as well as bumping up your AD.

Graves isn't the only one abusing this item, every ADC can potentially abuse this item from Ashe to Vayne.

Yea let's gut the shiny new item that made bruisers/juggernauts finally viable because ranged champs are abusing it

Getting really sick of ADC meta. I personally cry tears of joy when I see Corki mid complaining about how OP Zed is when he knowingly picked ADC into him. Or when Quinn top gets her face kicked in by Jax and then proceeds to throw the game because she can't front line for her team. Or when Graves jg gets assassinated by Elise every time he dares cross the river into her territory.

Especially when they're all on the same team (RIP overworked support mains )

How about flipping the adc meta on it's head by gutting them, and making mages (NOT assassins) feel useful again.

Steraks is just being abused by so many champs right now. Even Yi is building it. Its the go to defensive item other than qss for adcs, and for bruisers, well, its pretty damn good. Im fine with it being nerfed, but i want them to nerf the ad assasin items (maw) more than anything right now.

You jungle list is completely wrong, Kindred, and Quinn are both top tier picks and they both use sterak's. Now Jungle marksmen are using this item, all of them and imo that's fine because jungle marksmen need to be tankier than their bot lane counterparts. Some assassin junglers like Nocturne also use this item. The item is just so damn good for defensive purposes for everyone so that's why it's being nerfed. It's really cost efficient for the stats that it gives. The item is also good for bot lane marksmen as well because it's a huge counter to assassins or champions that do a lot of burst damage. EDIT: also I wouldn't rate Lee top tier, he's definitly good, but no where near as strong as Elise or Graves at the moment.

I don't think people actually want tanks to be as strong as they currently are. 3 tanks running at 3 tanks with 4k health just pounding each other has been horrible. We have far too many high HP items that need to be trimmed back. It's part of the reason mages suck so bad. You just can't chew through all that beef. So the truck runs you over. and over. and over. It's like an escalation of power. We have crazy ADCs. You need asstons of defense to survive for even a few seconds. So then we get more defense. The mages never got anything reasonable to deal with 4k hp and 200MR. You just can't pump damage out fast enough. Liandries doesn't even feel effective because you have to keep applying it, which some mages just can't do fast enough to be effective.

We need more mage items for tearing apart beefy targets.
