Instead of the crap fest of placing new players in Silver 3 and letting them fall (dragging a lot of people with them) and then climb back.

That's just horrifying. The poor new players having to enter in the cesspool of the bottom tiers. Yes, that stew of toxicity, afks, trolls and bad objective play are bound to keep new players in the game.

I have been on league for over 5 years. i play ranked occasionally. I tried it again and it threw me into I4 instead of my usual ranks of B1 or B2. i have never had such consistent AFK, throws, troll picks, inting, etc. This elo has my finger hovering over the uninstall button.

i cant get a single when, no matter how hard i win my lane, ward, ping and call objectives. This system is a fucking joke.

There are plenty of new players coming into the game lol. In fact, when I made a smurf a few months ago, I remember first timing random champs and going like 30-0 just due to how brand new my opponents where.

Thankfully, the system quickly realized and started putting me vs smurfs. I'd hate to ruin the game for new players...

It sucks honestly. Plus, beforehand new players would still get placed in bronze if they lost most of their placements. NOT silver. I don't know what you're on about.
