The Current State of Rek'Sai

Lately, it seems like everyone has been focused with sated devourer (Shyvana, Master Yi, Udyr, etc) and runic echoes junglers, but where does Rek'Sai fit in with all of this? I feel like Rek'Sai is very similar to Lee Sin in her role. High mobilty and strong early game ganks, but her damage does tend to fall off late game compared to other junglers (Kindred, Master Yi, etc). Also similar to Lee Sin, she has received numerous nerfs since her release due to her popularity in LCS. Having said all this, do you think Rek'Sai is in a good spot at the moment, or could she maybe use a small buff/nerf?

Im not going to vote perfect as is, nor slightly underpower, cuz shes neither. Shes ok, you cant go wrong with her, but truthfully you can play anything you desire until around diamond then you have to worry about getting punished hard.

If theyre still playing her in the lcs shes still decent. Ive seen reksais go off in high elo games so many times, doesnt mean shes good or bad, but you really dont have to worry about it.

If you play reksai and youre against a jungler that you know youll get fucked by Kindred Elise , ex. dont play her, and play someone else youre more comfortable with that match up.

So, in other words, she's balanced. She's just not broken like Graves, Kindred, Master Yi, etc. I see no problem with this.

Yup. Although I wouldnt call master yi broken, hes a bit strong and if you dont run the right team comp he looks even more broken than what he is. You need hard cc for him, lock him down, just letting you know, cause most people dont know how to deal with him.

And aside from that, yi applies literally no pressure meaning his negative pressure effects his team and if you play a high pressure jg you win by default, thats why he doesnt work in higher elo.

She was gutted by Riot for being too dominant. She had amazing map presence even before hitting 6 because tunnels gave her the ability to have vision on enemy movement and her damage was just too much. They nerfed her W knock-up radius and the true damage from her fully charged E.

And the meta is just not favoring her right now, Devourer junglers being the hype and all.

I mained her in the jung for season 5. She helped me smash trough Silver. I could carry games with a cinderhulk build... But now I can barely be relevant. I still think she is a good pick if you have a coordinated team with good communication. But right now there are so many other picks that just plainly get better results. Kindred Gragas Graves to name a few are good examples of meta power picks right now.
