ADC Annie: What I've tried and what I need help with.

Because of the range revert, Annie has the most base range of the whole game, also being improved by RFC.

So far, the only thing keeping Annie from being an amazing ADC is that awful attack speed.

My runes so far have been:

Lethal Tempo Triumph Legend: Alacrity Coup De Grace

and

Approch Velocity Magical Footwear

And my two rushed items are: item 3095 -> item 3094

Now, I personally want to dodge relying on attack speed for the damage; and mainly build anything that's AD afterwards.

These runes allow for a maximum 110% + 18% + 18% = 146% Attack Speed at later levels.

Magical Footwear is for the mobility.

In lane, she can poke easily; but not hard. As soon as she gets Stormrazor, prepare for the enemy Mid or Jungle to gank you. You can kite enemies easily and make them a little scared to farm, making them need to play safer; thus giving you more time to farm.

Slamming someone with your bear is still needed though, because Tibbers while he's active and damaging an enemy champion; keeps activating your Lethal Tempo for that attack speed boost.

To explain Annie's ADC playstyle more, you're truly a sniper. You don't want to lock them down and throw everything on them like Caitlyn does. You want to usually have more movement speed than the opposing ADC, so you can auto-attack them as they run.

With RFC, you have a 775 attack range; which is a little more than half the screen.

So if they fight back, E and W. If they flash / try to run away, resort to Q.

You don't want to use your Q to try to last hit a champion like normal Annie would though. Your Q range doesn't even match what your auto range is like.

Also, there is benefits to having a slow auto projectile. You can always gain the last hit if they flash away from your jungler.

Now here's where my problem begins. Is there anyway I can get this same gameplay with another, more powerful rune? Like Hail of Blades or Dark Harvest?

I for one respect the effort you've put so far with making the style work. I still hold dear to memory being a complete rookie and building Zeal on Annie cause I had no idea what I was doing.

From reading your post, it reminded me of how I've used Sona and witnessed Twisted Fate running similar setups and early itemization choices. I genuinely believe Annie can rock the same; I'm not inclined to try it yet - maybe preseason where the rune stat choice option comes.

As for now and the choice of rune to use: I normally default to Dark Harvest when my aim is to push and play to the turrets. I would normally build a particular Sheen item as well; Triforce by default, Lich Bane depending on AP Itemization, Frozen Fist if I'm against Yasuo. I haven't used Hail of Blades enough (once by mistake) so I couldn't give an honest opinion.

You're wrong She may have the the highest range for MAGES, but both Caitlyn and Tristana have more attack range.

Also you've butcher'd that build hard you're NEVER going over that attack speed limit on annie

just stick with AP and try nashors / wits / rageblade and call it a day.

I logged in to laugh at this garbage.
