Yasuo is basically a worse version of Tryndamere

I'm going to compare these 2 champs. Because each of them have free crit built into their kits. First of all, Yasuo has no gap closer. Yasuo actually needs something to dash to (an enemy, specifically) or he can't do sht. Tryndamere can dash anytime and anywhere (dash through champions, over walls, through minions, doesn't matter). Tryndamere goes where he wants when he wants and you can't do sht about it.

Second, crits don't do full damage (unlike Tryn), and he doesn't start with crit. He actually has to build it in order to get any benefit, and even after he does his crits don't do full damage. Tryndamere has access to 35% crit at level 1. Also, yasuo's crits can actually miss, since a lot of his crits come from his 'q', which is a skillshot.

Third, Yasuo has a much harder time ulting. He has to land 3 skillshots in a row before he can anything, and then he has to land his knockup (another skillshot). Granted, yasuo can also ult off a teammate's knockup, but not all champions have access to knockups, so this is unreliable. Tryndamere on the other hand will always be able to ult (provided he doesn't mess up, but if that happens it's your own fault).

Finally, we have the CC issue. If you CC Yasuo, provided you have enough damage, Yasuo will die. CC'ing tryndamere accomplishes nothing, since he is still able to get his ult off and then escape (or fight if he chooses).

There's a lot of other things I could talk about, but I felt these were things I could easily compare. Before I stop typing, I'm also going to remind you about the nerf to his base hp that happened a while ago (which was completely unnecessary btw). We have a champion who actually has counterplay (dodge the 'q') and is restricted in what he can do in fights (he NEEDS a target to dash to), and we have someone with zero counterplay. I'm not even asking for buffs to his damage. All I ask is that you revert the nerf to his base HP, so he's not a free kill for anyone who feels like ganking mid. Unlike Tryndamere, Yasuo has no escape. He deserves a larger HP pool to work with so he doesn't blow up the instant someone touches him.

Yasuo has a much harder time ulting.

Really? Tryndamere ult requires PERFECT timing to get the most out of it. It's really hard to do it well consistently as you can sometimes get burst fasted than you think. Using it too soon will give the ult a diminished effect. Doing it too late and... You're dead. Yasuo has an indicator that shows when he can ult. There's litterally nothing hard about timing that.

Yes, Tryndamere is better in soloQ atm. But Yasuo provides things trynda doesn't. Yasuo has CC. Both in the form of his Q and the ability to extend an allied knock up. Yasuo is more team reliant, but in the right teams, he's a beast. Just don't pick Yasuo if no one else has a knock up.

Yes really. If you screw up his ult it's your fault. Yasuo's ult is more of a gimmick at the moment. It requires very specific circumstances for him to even use it. And Tryn does have CC. He has an Aoe slow ffs.

Where do you get the impression that they're similar?...

Yeah they're both melee ADCs, that's about it.

except that yasuo is actual functional and balanced as a melee adc, while tryns kit is kindof broken. and i dont mean broken as in "op", im saying the concept of his kit is flawed and doesnt really work out as intended.

he either gets shut down too easily or lacks counterplay when he carries.
